On October 22, 2023, an airstrike destroyed the house I was in — my grandfather’s home. It was the heart of our family.
I was there with my mother, my sister, and my three younger brothers.
When the missile hit, everything turned to smoke, blood, and silence.
My mother and sister were killed instantly.
My brothers and I were pulled from the rubble, injured — but alive.
Moments later, my father arrived at the hospital.
He didn’t know if any of us had survived. He ran through the halls, searching.
Al Jazeera Mubasher filmed that exact moment — the moment he found us.
This video isn’t easy to watch. But it’s the truth.
It’s the moment my father found his sons alive…
and learned that his wife and daughter were gone.

I’m sharing this not to cause pain, but because I want people to understand what we’ve lived through.
This isn’t just a story. It’s our life.
It’s the moment that changed everything.

I’m still here. I’m trying to raise my brothers now.
We are trying to rebuild something from what was taken.
If you can help — even with a share — thank you
And if you just watched this, thank you for witnessing.

They are only 2% towords their goal. Please go donate to them
Happy mothers day.
Farhat Dalia is a mother of three children and her husband is a teacher. They live in a state of constant fears as Is not Real causes nothing but death and destruction all over Gaza.
The 121st day of the genocide their home was destroyed by Is not Real and with that, their dreams were shattered. They were forced to live in a tiny tent and were also forced to move from one place to another. The shelter they live in is temporary and is made ofplastic and wood. It is so fragile that the wind in the winter may destroy it.

An urgent appeal for help ‼️‼️🚨🙏

✅️Vetted by @gazavetters , my number verified on the list is ( #538)
I’m Inge Kassab 22, dental student in alazhar university Gaza, I have finished three years of my studies at the university and unfortunately my university has completely destroyed due to the war in Gaza and I can’t go abroad the city to continue my studies because all boarders around us were closed and I forced to live her under bombing.
For almost a whole year and half I have been living in Gaza, where wardestruction and chaos spread everywhere in Gaza.
My home and my university were completely destroyed .

I am currently in Deir El Balah after I have displaced from my city Gaza , trying to save money to rebuild home to live in a safe place with my family. My father is an old man who lost his work and my mom also lost her work. I need you to support me and my family to build our life again.
Because of the war, it has become impossible to provide money to live, buy food, clean and drinkable water, and education here. This money will be used to provide what the war has destroyed for us, and also to provide a place to stay, especially since we are now approaching the winter season, where we need winter clothes, repair the damage to the house, and provide what protects us from the cold and hunger of winter.
Gaza has become a place full of destruction and is no longer suitable for any opportunity here. Diseases have spread in the Gaza Strip, especially those skin diseases for which there is no treatment due to the war. The water here has also become polluted water and has spread, and there is not enough food for everyone here.
I created this campaign to ask for help and support from you. As a human being who lived an entire year and half under the flames of war, destruction, and tragedies, I am addressing you and asking you for help, to help me get a chance to survive war, death, and hunger with my family, and to start from scratch. A new journey of living and recovering from those traumas and painful memories that we experienced in the war. So we stayed in the Gaza Strip under the genocide to live in difficult conditions and complete our studies with the least available means. Before the war began, I was at the beginning of the clinical stage and the beginning of my work on patients, but the war came and destroyed all my dreams, as I lost my university and my dental tools, which cost my father more than $1,000, and I lost my future. But now I am trying to return again in order to complete the number of study hours and graduate. Therefore, I need your help to complete what remains, as there is only very little left to graduate and go out to work and help patients.

This money will also help me to cover our living expenses and buy food in Gaza. Buying food and groceries in Gaza is something we cannot afford every day because of the high prices, and there is no opportunity to work here. The money will also be used to buy available cooking gas, wood and firewood which will also be used to provide fires for cooking and also to keep warm from the cold at night in the coming days. Also I want to build my own clinic after graduation.
I hope you will hear my voice and help me get a chance to evacuate from here, and a chance to evacuate from Gaza if we can .
I am a person whose dreams, life, and ambitions were stolen during the war. All I have left is the hope of escaping from here. Help me revive this hope ❤️🙏🙏
So Please Help Me to Put (Dr.) before my name.
Sorry For tagging you guys randomly but this is the only way to reach more people and to gain your attention please help me sharing my story to people who care about Palestinians 💔🙏🙏‼️🇵🇸

Are you 🫵 pissed off about the Lilo and Stitch monstrosity remake? Do you want to know how you can actually make a difference in supporting the people and ecosystems of Hawaii?
Tourism is a big issue in Hawaii (which the remake got rid of the original's commentary on because it makes foreigners look bad). I'm not gonna promote it, BUT I know that realistically, thousands of people arrive here every single day by the airplane-ful. And the majority of them aren't educated on the socio-cultural and economic impacts of tourism. SO, I'm making this post in an effort to educate visitors. If you or someone you know is visiting or moving to Hawaii (whether by circumstances in or out of your control), here are some suggestions on how you can give back!
You can donate to the Hawaii Community Foundation, which has been instrumental in giving aid to the displaced community of Lahaina after the Maui wildfires in 2023. They also provide scholarships to students of under-represented communities.
If you're interested in visiting Kualoa Ranch, you can do their Mālama Experience where you get your hands dirty giving back to the ‘āina (land)!
There are other organizations you can join to volunteer with, too, like Kupu and Mālama Maunalua. Check them out; maybe you can help with a beach cleanup or plant native trees! These are both non-profit organizations that accept monetary donations.
Visit the Bishop Museum to learn about Hawaiian history and culture! They also have events focused on sustainability and conservation.
If you're visiting Hilo on the Big Island, go visit the Laulima Nature Center! They're a non-profit aimed at protecting Hawaii's native species, and they even have an online store that ships to the US mainland and internationally! (After I post this, I'm gonna head on over and get myself a manu o Kū pin ♡)
A few other tips I have:
DO: Respect the locals' homes. Several beaches and hiking trails have access points in residential areas. Please be mindful to keep your voices down when passing by, and park ONLY in designated parking areas.
DO: Wear reef-safe sunscreen! Sunscreens containing oxybenzone and octinoxate are banned in Hawaii because they are known to damage coral reefs.
DON'T: Approach wildlife, particularly honu (sea turtles) and 'īlio holo i ka uaua (Hawaiian monk seals). Stay at least 10 feet (3 meters) away from turtles and at least 50 feet (15 meters) away from monk seals. If you see someone harassing animals, report them to the statewide NOAA Marine Wildlife Hotline: (888) 256-9840. You can also contact the Hawaii State Department of Land and Natural Resources.
DON'T: Collect sand, rocks, or other natural items to bring home with you. This is to protect the ecosystems and also out of respect for Kānaka Maoli (Native Hawaiians), who have cultural beliefs regarding lava rocks in particular. Taking lava rocks is extremely disrespectful.
DON'T: Litter! Please throw away your waste in proper trash cans. If you see a bin that says "ʻōpala," that's a trash can!
Many Kānaka Maoli (Native Hawaiians) are moving to the US mainland because the cost of living in Hawaii has been driven up so high (because of people moving here), they can't afford to live in their ancestral home. So, if you are going to visit or move to Hawaii, please:
- Make the effort to support local businesses, especially those owned by Native Hawaiians!
- Educate yourself and your loved ones about actual Hawaiian culture!
- Try Hawaiian food, like poi!
- Learn some Hawaiian words and don't be afraid to ask how to pronounce words correctly!
- Donate to a food bank!
- Watch films and read books written by Native Hawaiians!
My hope is that whoever sees this post will use it to educate themselves, their friends, and their families who are considering visiting.
My background is in sustainability and the environment, so that's what I know to suggest off the top of my head. If any Kānaka Maoli read this post and have suggestions to add, please do!

Anas Basil is a recent high school graduate who graduated with a 97% average. He was enrolled in Khan Younis Training College (KYTC) which has been turned into a displacement shelter. His younger brother Ahmad is 14 years old and has a very good talent for mathematics but this is the second year he was deprived of his education due to the genocide. Their family were forced to leave to Rafah where they live in a tent where the lack food and water. This donation will help them go to Egypt where Anas and Ahmad can continue their studies (which means covering school fees as well), cover living expenses in Egypt (rent, food and other necessary supplies for Egypt), and to help rebuild their lives.
They are only 6% away from their goal. Please support them by donating to their gofundme or by just sharing their story so that it reaches more people.

Lina Marouf is a 27 year old mother of three children; her daughter Yasmmen and her two sons Ali and Adam. They are from Al-Zahraa in the Gaza Strip and Lina has a diploma of e-commerce. A missile targeted their home that costed $40,000 to make and was completely destroyed. They now live in a tent with terrible conditions and a lack of basic necessities. Her husband, who was already injured previously, had his leg hurt in one of the attacks. He has lost his car which was the source of their income and to make things even worse, his brother, Mahmoud, was martyred. Alaa was in the place he and his family were told to fled when a missile stuck in where he was staying. they all survived, but a piece of shrapnel hit Alaa's right arm and broke it. He cannot move without going through agonizing pain. He barely has any medical care for his arm. there are no modern machines, no proper medications, and there's not even any proper painkiller for this excruciating pain. His "cast" is just a worn out fabric which is not good for wounds. He has to spend hours in a worn- down hospital as he went through excruciating pain. He lost his job and his wife Sara, had graduated with a degree of Multi Media and Web Development and was excited to start her career and Alaa himself was a technical manager in a reputable company This was all before their home, Sara's art supplies, their offices, and with that, their careers and dreams were all destroyed. They deserve a happy life. Alaa deserves proper treatment and he and Sara both deserve their lives back. The deserve a roof over their heads and food fit to eat. Please support their living and sheltering costs. A single meal costs $50, a bottle of water is $10 and a tent for shelter costs $1,000 dollars. You can help them by donating or sharing this thread.

"A broken arm yet a heart that refuses to break."
My name is Alaa. I was injured in the war a so-called "minor" injury, but it never felt minor to me.

On one of the days of the war, while I was in the place I had fled to seeking safety, a missile struck the very area where we were staying.
We survived by a miracle, but I did not walk away unharmed. A piece of shrapnel hit my right arm, and as a result, my hand was broken.
A broken hand wasn’t just a passing pain it was agony that seeped into every detail of daily life. With every small movement, my body screamed in pain, as if the shrapnel were still lodged inside.
But it wasn’t just the physical pain that wore me down it was the lack of medical care, the helplessness, the neglect.
The journey toward treatment was painful in itself. There were no modern machines, no proper medications, not even enough painkillers to ease the stabbing aches.
I spent endless hours in the crumbling corridors of a worn-down hospital, waiting as the pain pulsed through me.
The cast wrapped around my arm was nothing more than a piece of worn-out fabric unfit for wounds, and unworthy of the pain.
I didn’t just suffer from the fracture; I suffered from the fracture of humanity around me from being unable to get the treatment I needed.
This white bandage on my arm isn’t just a medical wrap it's a small witness to a much larger tragedy, one buried beneath the ruins of homes and lives.
This image despite all the pain, holds within it a glimmer of hope, born from the rubble.
And still I stand.

Because deep inside, I carry the belief that even broken bodies can rise again and tell the world a story of resilience.
Every act of humanity counts, especially now,Support us, or be our voice.

Due to some bullshittery on gofundme's part, Musab has lost access to all the funds they had previously gathered and is one of the many Palestinian who now must restart their fundraiser from the ground up at 0.
( VETTING: #520 on the Gazavetters document )

And due to Tumblr's bullshittery marking multiple posts as "sensitive content" for no discernable reason and targeting Palestinian fundraisers to hide them, I will instead hyperlink to Musab's fundraiser instead of a direct link in order to try get past the flagging.
Please donate if you can here. They're very low on donations.
