Id Space Week 6

Its already week 6. We are still experimenting our 'space between you and me' thingy. We decided to use the space in lights and shadows but we don't know how to really relate to it.

When we found some interesting ideas but there will always no meaning behind. If we found interesting meaning but we cannot come out the outcome😂 We thought lights will be easier but no. I still remember one of my lecturer said "simple is hard". 🙄

Still, we have try and try again so we can have an outcome that are perfectly related to space in lights and shadows. I hope we really can find a solution for it before presentation😂

Rainbows In The CDs

Found some rainbows when using white lights to reflect them on the wall, especially in a small dark room, the room was filled with the rainbow lights.

The LED lights shines through the holes make some bubbles effect. It feels like really healing in my heart when looking at it.

By squishing the lantern papers randomly and place it under the lights, the shadows seem to become something we know; and different people got their different views about it.

Id Space Week 3 Class

I had my small presentation in this week. Well, it actually kinda a bit failed when I’m presenting my sketch models. I didn’t explained well about them because I did not know what I really wanted to say about them and this let me felt a bit disappointment about myself. Although I had presentation also before but still cannot calm down in front of the lectures and students. I think the challenging part was I need to not be so nervous so that I would know what am I talking about. 

Also, our lecturer also give some comments for my sketch models so that I can be more improve after this. I remembered he said I should make something more abstract but not the one that looks like a final stuff and I should also be careful of choosing materials when I making it such as ribbons. So, in future, I better be more alert with choosing materials and be more experimental in my projects’ processes.

After the presentation thingy, our lecturer brief us next assignments which is group assignment. The assignment is about the space between ‘you and me’ which means the space between the objects and the people’s body movements. It sounds a bit complicated for me but maybe I’ll find out the answers when I doing this assignments.

Design Space Week 2

Firstly, I felt a bit vast and indistinct after hearing some briefing of interior design. I keep asking myself whether it is right or nay. When I received the first assignment, I felt so loss about try to form shapes by listening to the music. I did done some assignments look something like this before, so I try to use same method for this assignment too, but its a bit fail lol.

When in the class of the week, our lecturer teaches us how to feel the music by closing the eyes and draw the rythems on the paper. Then we need to find something interesting from what we draw. I also learned how to use photoshop to photoshop (?) images.

Now, I have done some experiments from papers to wires, trying to find some ideas from them. I did done some models but still need some improvements so I think next week I’ll find more materials so that I can make more models. Also, I need to photoshop some models into looks like ‘reality’ images too.

Lonely Rectangle

When I listen to the music, I felt the music sounds lonely so I make some different heights of rectangles, trying to capture its lonely shadows. I think shadow is the loneliness thing in the world.

Curvy Wire

After draw the lines, I form it using copper wires, trying to find a interesting shape from it. Oh... I see a face from it!
