More backpacks for WIP. I found this awesome yarn at @spotlightstores which is a blend of 85% cotton and 15% polyester and it feels so tidy to work with! The final product will be posted once it's no longer a WIP 😉 Has anyone ever thought that a tutorial could be done with pictures? With some text? Does this exist without a typical sheet of row by row steps? The finished product! I know it's old fashion and outdated to have a tissue box cover nowadays but I see why it can be appreciated. Tissue Box Cover in red, grey and white fluffy yarn. This is a second version to the first that was in the Ultimate Lovers Set a few posts back. Word of mouth went around and this particular cover was requested to be made again. I want to make more of these! Anyone in Australia that wants one sent to them? I say Australia because shipping can be ridiculous overseas. It'll be a lucky-dip order because you won't know what colours you're gonna get! Ta-da! A sock! The first one I've ever made and it's not perfect but it fit my husbands foot nicely, luckily I have enough yarn to make the final pair for an order. Made out of 75% Australian wool and 15% acrylic. To be honest, I purchased the yarn accidentally with a mix of acrylic because I don't appreciate the synthetics hence why Skizzored and String is working towards 100% sustainable materials. PS. So this boy was super happy to demonstrate this green bean backpack on our bush walk today. This was a pattern test backpack which I have tweaked for perfection (which is on my hook already). Anyone relate with being the only person in the family who makes gifts instead of buying them? Especially for all the children. I was never lucky enough to know the feeling of being gifted something that that person made themselves. I can only imagine it would be something appreciated above all others. Maybe...
