Beepaw’s whispers take that strange irreverent tone again, and as he’s talking, the bee Jesterpaw had glanced at goes closer to him, dancing in greeting. Beepaw greets it back gingerly so as to avoid moving the branch too much, then looks at Jesterpaw

Beepaw nods to the middle of the tree, indicating a hole in its trunk which was well-hidden even from just slightly below this branch. there are countless bees buzzing around inside a golden yellow interior. the tree is hollow

Don’t lean into it, just look at it from here. Just know it goes all the way down

a few bees come out to inspect the visitors, and Beepaw purrs in a tone that one can assume means something along the lines of “he’s with me”
