Updates:

1) Our writer is willing to write for this Au again!! We just have to discuss what storyline we want since like mentioned, we don’t want to limit ourselves to just following the manga/anime.

2) We still have 3 asks from when this blog was active before, and while they might not apply to our revamp, we want to at least answer them.

3) This isn’t really an update, just something we forgot to mention in the original post, but some characters might end up being re-sorted into another house.

Hey, guys, it’s been a while. We keep falling out and back into BNHA, right now we’re back into it. We talked about this blog recently, and we’ve decided that we’re gonna revamp this Au. We’ll keep the previous posts to look at (though we’ll be deleting some unnecessary reblogs and mod posts), but we want to essentially start over. We’re still keeping certain stuff we liked though, so it’s not gonna be totally rechanged.

Some changes you’ll see:

Deku, Uraraka, Iida, Bakugou, and Todoroki will sorta be our main characters, but everyone else in class 1-A will also get the chance for spotlight!

Due to our discomfort with M*neta, he will no longer exist in this Au and will be replaced with Shinsou

The story will start when they’re first years instead of in the middle of their fourth year (you’ll be able to send asks after the sorting ceremony)

Originally in the Au, we had essentially limited ourselves to “How would the events in the manga/show play out if they were in Hogwarts?” We’ve decided to remove that restriction and we’re going to create our own plotlines and such that don’t necessarily follow canon.

We don’t know if our writer will continue to write short stories for our Au, though there’s most likely a chance she no longer will, as she doesn’t write fanfiction anymore.

Also, we’ve decided to just go by Mod M and Mod U for now.

We don’t know when we’ll start posting again, but bear with us! We hope to bring you something you’ll enjoy!

This might be a redundant question, but do you guys have owls or any other pets? If so, what are they like?

Iida: My family has an owl named Ace, though he’s not exactly “mine,” he belongs to everyone in my family.

Ururaka: My parents weren’t willing to get a pet from the magic world, but I might get something when I’m older!

Acceptance Letters // Izuku Midoriya

The squeak of the mailbox door was loud and prominent, as Inko Midoriya watched her son open the mailbox with an excited look on his face, and then close it when he saw it empty. She had begged for him to come inside and eat a few times before, only for him to refuse and continue to open and close the mailbox.

Inko had been counting the days, and she was sure that the letter had gotten lost in the mail or something. It was five days late, and Hogwarts was never late. Alternatively, at least it was five days late from the date she had first received her letter in the mail all those years ago. Whatever the cause, Inko had come down to two conclusions.

One: Her son hadn't gotten accepted into Hogwarts.

Two: The letter had gotten lost in the mail.

Thinking about her son, she hated to believe so, but she was more so leaning towards the first reason rather than the second. Compare to his other wizard friends, Izuku had shown barely any magical power. Now, Inko found herself regretting the decision to even mention Hogwarts to her son. He had gotten so excited about it when it was possible that he hadn’t gotten accepted.

Unable to watch any longer, Inko walked down the driveway and to Izuku, placing her hand on his shoulder. "It’s time to go inside. It’s getting dark out, and you need to eat dinner."

"But what if my letter arrives? I won’t see the owl!" Izuku complained, opening the mailbox once more.

"We’ll check it tomorrow, first thing in the morning. Deal?" Her face softened as she saw the look of disappointment on her son’s face. "First thing in the morning, and after dinner?"

"Okay... deal."

They had checked both times, only to an empty mailbox. Inko watched as her son's heart broke, and his face fell. It appeared that she'd be sending him a regular school rather than the school of his dreams.

"I'm sorry, Izuku," she started, hearing her voice break for her son. "I really thought-"

Before she could finish, her son jumped up, pointing towards the sky. "Mama look!"

Inko's eyes went wide as she immediately recognized the figure, it was Toshinori Yagi. She wondered what his reason was for showing up, especially since her son hadn't been accepted into Hogwarts. As he landed, she asked just that.

"My sincerest apologies, Mrs. Midoriya! Your son's letter got lost due to a faulty owl, and I've come to personally deliver it!" He gave a grand pose, his muscly arms on his hips.

Inko's eyes briefly shifted to her son, who's jaw was on the floor. "It's Toshinori Yagi! He's only the greatest Auror ever! And he's standing in front of me!"

"That's no problem!" She hastily looked back to Toshinori and grabbed the letter, handing it to Izuku.

The two watched as he read over the pice of paper, all of his emotions clear. First confusion, then surprise, and the best part— pure joy. He jumped up and down, the letter clutched in his left hand. "I got in! I got in!"

Still, Inko couldn't help but wonder the reason for Toshinori Yagi's appearance. She'd recently read about his retirement as an Auror in both The Daily Prophet and The Quibbler, but she was sensing that there was something more here. Yet standing here with possibly one of the greatest Wizards of all time, it confused her.

However, it could've been the fact that she hadn't seen Toshinori in person since graduation at Hogwarts. They were part of different houses, so it wasn't like she saw him often, but that didn't stop all the rumors she heard about him. He'd gotten taller and stronger since then, that's for sure.

"Mister Yagi, why did you come with me to Diagon Alley instead of my Mom?" Izuku asked, still in awe of the magical things that were usually hidden from the real world.

"Good question, Young Midoriya! Please call me All Might, though." Toshinori grinned, patting the green-haired boy on the back.

"Right. Where'd you get the nickname?"

"It was a nickname my co-workers gave me in the Ministry of Magic. I got used to it, and now my real name seems formal!" He laughed at his own words, slowly becoming silent when he realized that Izuku wasn't laughing along.

"Anyways! We'll need to get your robes, textbooks, a pet if you want one, a wand... Do you plan on playing Quidditch?"

"What's that?"

A look of genuine surprise came upon Toshinori's face. "You've never heard about Quidditch? That's a shocker since your mother was at all of the games!"

Toshinori guided Izuku through all of the stores, knowing exactly where to stop for the finest supplies. His robes were a perfect fit, his textbooks were brand new- Izuku couldn't help but wonder how much all of this had cost. But before he could ask, he was swept into one of the many pet stores.

"Pick a pet, Young Midoriya!" All Might announced, gesturing his hands all around the store.

Izuku looked around, immediately drawn towards an Eostrix Owl, who's feathers stood upwards in a similar fashion to that of All Might.  However, that dream was short-lived as the owl lunged at him when he approached it.  He looked at the cats next, all of which paid no attention to a possible owner. As he examined the animals, Izuku couldn't help but feel as if no animal was truly calling him.

"All Might, what animal did you—“ Before he could finish, the green-haired boy came face to face with a toad covered Toshinori Yagi.

Surprised, Izuku jumped back, almost hitting his back against another owl cage. All Might stood proudly, one toad in each hand and two toads on each shoulder. They all croaked in unison as if calling Izuku to approach them.

"Young Midoriya! I used to have one of these when I was still a student! It looks like they still like me!" Toshinori laughed, Izuku awkwardly laughing with him this time. "Here, take one!"

Before he could protest, All Might placed on of the toads in his hands, and it let out a dry-sounding croak. Izuku watched the creature, tilting his head. He reached out with his other hand, using his index finger to gently rub the toad's back, and it let out a satisfactory croak.

"He likes you!" All Might announced, now toad-free.

"Yeah, I guess he does," Izuku smiled at the toad, watching as it climbed up his arm and rested on his shoulder. "Can I have him?"

"Of course you can! I've already paid!"

The next stop was getting a cauldron, which was relatively easy. Quidditch popped up again, and when All Might fully explained it, Izuku was over the moon with excitement to play. Without hesitation, he bought the boy a broom and they moved on to the final store: Olivander's.

"Now this is the best part," Toshinori began, fond memories clouding his mind. "Letting the wand chose you is truly magical, and this is the best place!"

A man appeared behind the desk, his hair was greying and his body looked rather frail. A smile came to his face when he saw All Might, but the more Izuku looked at him, it appeared to be more of a smirk than a smile.

"Back so soon? Did you break another wand, Toshinori?" The man asked, half-laughing as he spoke.

"Not today Olivander! Young Midoriya here needs to get his first wand!"

Olivander immediately rushed from behind his desk and grabbed a seemingly random wand from one of the many shelves. When he opened the black casing, a darker-wooded wand was revealed to Izuku's eyes. Gently, he took it from the box and handed it to the young wizard, urging him to try it. The wand, as expected on a first try, didn't work. Before Izuku could even process what was happening, he was given another wand, this one of a much lighter color.

"The second wand it is!" All Might announced when he saw Izuku perfectly cast the spell Lumos. "I've never seen someone get a wand so quickly! It usually takes four or five times, even thirty on occasion!"

"That one's made of hornbeam wood, with a phoenix feather core. It's ten and three-fourths inches. Pretty flexible too." Olivander explained, accepting the gold galleons that All Might was giving to him.

"It's been a productive day! I've got to get you home before your mother starts to worry." Izuku nodded and followed Toshinori back to the exit. This was truly an experience he'd never forget.

"Why'd you go out of your way to deliver that letter to that boy, All Might?" Hizashi Yamada, the Head of Gryffindor house, asked.

"I don't know why, but I see so much of myself in Young Midoriya. You can barely sense any magic energy from him, but such a powerful wand chose him! You'd have to see it with your own eyes." Toshinori explained, a smile on his face.

"If that's the route he's taking, he might be stronger than you!" Hizashi joked, his laugh sounding like it had been amplified through three speakers.

"I wouldn't be surprised if he did."

"He better stay out of trouble," Shota Aizawa, Head of Ravenclaw, added. "Unless he's really like you. Then trouble will come to him."

"I wasn't that much of troublemaker." Toshinori defended, rolling his eyes.

"Sure. Just remember that our house never won the House Cup because of you!" Hizashi teased, wounding Toshinori's pride a little bit.

“That doesn't matter! The boy will do better than me, I know it."
