|| long time no see! hope that everyone is doing well!

|| I know that I said I would be back quite some time ago, but never got around to doing so- hence why I'm here to explain my absence because I feel bad for disappearing without any further explanation.

|| obviously, things like classes and work got the best of me and made it hard for me to come back to this blog, and things only took a more downhill turn when my mother fell ill and we weren't sure if she was going to be alright or not (She has since recovered, for anyone wondering).

|| I really do plan on getting back into this blog again, as it's simply so much fun, but I'm also trying to take it slow, and I have a LOT of asks to get through!

|| I dunno if I'll close asks until I get everything done, or if I'll keep them open while I answer the asks I have yet to get around to, but I'll figure something out!

Sorry for the lack of updates- I got caught up in some crazy stuff down here as of late and had absolutely NO time to answer anything.

I should be able to start getting back into answering everyone soon, considering that I finally got P.AI.nter something he wanted after HOURS of 'grinding', which as tedious as it was I SUPPOSE it was worth it. I also managed to put together something that a certain expendable had off-handedly mentioned wanting once while in my shop. Sure, things aren't COMPLETELY wrapped up as I feel like I've been coming down with something, but I'll still do my best to get back into getting your answers out as quick as I can.

No promises they'll be immediate, though.

Those people TORMENTED me. Messing with my feelings, stopping me in the hallway on my way to class.. Maybe it's the leopard seal DNA talking, but they all DESERVED to rot! I'm absolutely not going in detail, it's.. bad..

I just wanted it to STOP. I was in so much PAIN in my senior year.. I felt GROSS and DISGUSTING.. Nobody should ever feel like that. Nobody should be... scared like that. I was miserable, and nobody even helped me!.. It was in self-defense! Even if it was premeditated..

Is me killing them all really so bad of me?! I was defending myself and my mental health. I don't feel remorse.. Maybe they shouldn't have broken me in the first place... I hate myself.. I hated myself and I still do, and now I look like a monster. That's the only reason I regret it. Because nobody could love such a horrendous, aggressive beast like- like- like some sea leopard hybrid..

At least YOU look good with your mutations, Sebastian. I look like a bloodthirsty monster..

I respect your decisions.

I might not know you all that well, but what I CAN say is that whatever you were put through WAS something that you didn’t deserve.

Nobody deserves to go through something like that.

Look, what I’m tryna say is that yeah, premeditated murder probably wasn’t the first choice on the list of ways to deal with it, but it’s not like it wasn’t NOT on the list at all.

You were simply doing what you thought was the best way to deal with your problems after suffering through them for so long.

You deserved so much better than what you were given, and yet you never received what you were deserving of.

It hurts. I get it.

Urbanshade’s experiments don’t make it any better, either..

Then, he realesed a loud cry and flees to a corner, sitting down with the hands on his head, only whimpering „Put it away, please!!!“

“The disturbing face..?”

Sebastian only shook his head with a sigh.

“Look, I’m NOT trying to be rude, but could you please give me a little bit more detail so that I can get an idea of what it is you’re dealing with here..?”

He asked, cautiously approaching the other as not to freak them out even more. Sebastian had dealt with his fair share of things, but whatever this was certainly was nothing short of a new experience for him. Hell, he almost felt bad, PITIFUL, even, for the man.

“I just wanna know what this ‘face’ looks like. Any detail you can give me, if you’re willing.”

*A small ant crawls out of one of the device's ports, and stares directly at Sebastian. It looks upset.*

“Oh, uh.”

“That’s.. not supposed to happen, as far as I know..”

I think that I would simply cry. This is the only response that I could manage to this situation.

He crawled back outside, bumping his head again

Sebastian is utterly HORRIFIED.

“WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU DO THAT? YOU COULD’VE JUST- I DON’T KNOW, ASKED ME TO TURN IT OFF OR SOMETHING- INSTEAD YOU TORE IT OFF??”

“Trying to get out of here,”

He replied.

“I give the data I’ve received to Urbanshade’s rival companies in hopes of receiving a way out of here in return. It’s a shame that they had to leave all of their precious assets behind when they evacuated..”

“To them, at least.”

There's a scratching sound coming from the vents, getting closer to the shop until a humanoid face pops out, looking up at Sebastian. He looks like an expendable, but he has an eyepatch and a hoodie, both looking hand-made with various random scraps of expendable jumpsuits.

"Hello. You sell stuff, yes?"

Pulling on his esca and allowing it to flicker to life, casting a dim glow of which illuminated the small room, Sebastian glanced at the other who had just crawled through the vent.

“You’ve got that right,”

He said with a slight chuckle.

“As long as you have enough data, I’m willing to trade some of my stock.”

“Ah, geez..”

His ear-fins twitched slightly, not even bothering to point out that the other didn’t ask before taking some items from his shop, more focused on trying to figure out how to properly accept the praise he was currently receiving.

“I mean, it’s.. just a light, but-”

With a sigh, Sebastian shook his head.

“. . Thank you. I’m.. glad. That you like it, I mean.”

A small figure emerges through the vent leading to Sebastian's shop. It's orange eyes scan across the room, squinting to see any possible threat. Their eyes meet Sebastians, and the creature practically jumps out of their skin.

"AH-! Fish!"

They yelped, startled by his sudden presence. After a moment, they pull themselves together and attempt to get a better look at Sebastian

"Fish need help? Fish okay?"

“Me-? Hey, I’m alright..”

He reassured the smaller being, letting an awkward chuckle escape him as he did so.

“I mean, are you alright? You looked terrified for a moment there..”

“Well, I’m glad you’re looking forward to it.”

Replied Sebastian, the previously-small smile on his face only becoming more evident as he watched Sluggle’s excited reaction. He only knew the other for a short amount of time, but he seemed to enjoy the company, her joy over such simple things starting to rub off on him.

“Just.. make yourself comfortable, alright..? Lemme know if I can get or do anything for ya while you’re here.”

A tiny chubby creature made their way into the shop, they looked a bit similar to a sea angel. They seemed to be another test subject.

With an excited wiggle of their nubby antennae they looked at his direction - as much as one could without eyes that is - and perked up. “Hi new big friend!”

Before even asking or explaining they plopped down against his tail and sat criss-cross on the floor. “Have many stuff here.”

He knelt down to the other’s level, quite curious about them.

“Hey there,”

He hummed, tilting his head to the side as he looked over the smaller as they sat against his tail.

“I haven’t seen ya around here before- what’s your name..?”
