I wouldn't say that I'm crafty per say. I just think a little differently that lets me use items that others wouldn't think about. Now, Leo on the other hand is crafty.

Fine. I don't exactly make trinkets for the others, but I like to research stuff for the others. Compile note lists and books they'd want to read about a topic that they enjoy or want to learn more about. I helped Percy make little recipe books of the packs favorites... that surprisingly was difficult...

Hazel's been getting into fashion, so Piper and I have been working together to find everything she would want to read on it, and Piper has been helping her get a feel for stuff too.

Like I said, I'm not exactly crafty myself.

Are too! You sew'd together a stuffed animal for Estelle and made a good crop-top for Piper when she got frustrated with her own!

For... the siblings... There is only one set of siblings-- Well, Thalia and Jason I suppose could technically count...

Isn't Thalia not technically part of the pack?

She was part of Annabeth's pack before the current one started forming, and then her and Percy sort of bonded too on a quest shortly after Thalia came back from being a tree.

Well, it's still sort of like being in a normal family except we can vaguely feel each other's emotions, and if we go too far away; we can sort of feel a... pull to where they are!

And as far as games, we sort of just play the same games that camp normally does...

You two also really like playing hide and seek...

Oh! Yeah! We like to test our Shadow Travel abilities and the accuracy of the bond and seeing how often we can Shadow Travel in a row!

It's scary, especially when they just show up behind you and tell you to stay quiet. Because they play this in camp too, not just in the greater world.

And Percy likes to get the entire pack together for board games at least twice a week.

Frank, being around seven feet tall and very beefy, the world isn't quite built for someone of your size. What's the biggest struggle of navigating buildings made too small for you?

Oh! Well, doors are definitely too short some days, and gods forbid that the house had been modified for someone even smaller, because then it's just impossible...

Piper and Hazel typically work together to modify clothes for me when mine get too damaged to repair, but I repair any damages to the best of my ability! My Mama taught me how to sew when I was really young... Baking too!

His sweet treats are really good! What did you say your favorite to bake was again?

Oh! I really like to make macaroons, but it's so hard to find the time to do them... and I know that Percy really likes the frosting treats I've been making, and those are slowly becoming one of my favorites too... Have you tried them yet Hazel?

Oh! But before we get too distracted, there's a second part to the question... Navigating buildings made too small for me means I hit my head a lot. Well, uh, I never actually joined the Camp Jupiter pack, as I wasn't at the camp long enough to have created those bonds with people. However, I can see that there are different structures. Like, at Camp Jupiter the kids usually hang around their families; typically as close as possible to their parents. but at Camp Half-Blood, the kids are everyone's responsibility and they are constantly running around and playing everywhere!

Okay, uh, Jason's turn!

My turn? Okay, this is a harder question for me but... I was also never a part of the Camp Jupiter pack? No one wanted to get close enough to me and get to know me, other than Reyna of course. It was weird getting to Camp Half-Blood and seeing how close everyone was and that they were extending that to me as well, they didn't even know me and were more than willing to accept me as part of the pack.

Okay... I suppose I did bond with a few people enough to form a mini pack before Percy arrived to camp; not that those bonds hold as strong anymore. I suppose I agree with what Jason and Hazel said. Camp Jupiter is full of structure, even in family life, and Camp Half-Blood is all about the connection. Sure, it hurts when someone dies, but at least you didn't die without knowing that people cared for you and about what happened to you...

Okay, uh, Annabeth says it's my turn to answer the question; something about me being a bridge between the two camps just like Jason, so uh... Here we go. Camp Jupiter never felt like home, for one, and no one really wanted to get to know the Son of Neptune because they're scared of Neptune himself. I guess they were worried about offending him or something. I don't know, he's a pretty chill god nowadays so...

But anyways... Yeah, I think Frank summed it up pretty perfectly. One's all about structure and keeping a careful distance, and the other is all about connection and family and helping those around you. Very stark contrasts.

I don't have an opinion on when the others joined the pack, other than it finally felt like I had the pack of my dreams... People had always talked about having the right inner pack, and that I would know it when it happened. And I didn't believe them until it happened.

Context, before the first war, the pack was only Annabeth, Percy, and Grover. After the first war, I ended up joining the pack though I think that's just Percy's a sap and kept bringing me to his mom's so much. And I think Rachel is actually apart of the pack too? During the second war is when Frank, Hazel, Jason, Leo, and Piper joined, and then after Will and I started dating Will joined the pack.

Like Percy said, it felt like our pack was becoming complete. It's a sense of safety and trust that's echoed amongst all pack members, and it's a knowing that no matter what happens or what you do, you'll always have someone there to back you up and understand.

Jason, was their social pressure to be an alpha as a son of Jupiter? Did people respond badly to you being a beta at camp Jupiter?

Definitely. But I feel there is a lot of pressure for a lot of demigods to be Alpha's. I wouldn't say that there was a bad or negative reaction to me being a Beta, but people were definitely unhappy that I wasn't an Alpha.

At Camp Half-Blood, though, no one reacted badly to knowing I was a Beta son of Jupiter, though that was probably because Percy was also a Beta son of Poseidon.

Actually, sorry to interrupt, but Poseidon has a lot of Beta children; it was almost expected! It was actually Nico that caused a shock, but Nico also wasn't at camp when he presented.

Really? That's curious... Do certain cabins have an expectation of one presentation over the others?

Absolutely! Though Annabeth would know better than I would.

Question for everyone: there’s obviously times when alphas or omegas need to be taken care of because of their biological needs…but do the betas need extra caretaking? And if so, what do you do for each of them?

Hey! Great question! So, it sort of depends on who's around the Beta at certain times. Like, say an Alpha goes to rut and it mated or is courting an Omega, it would trigger the Omega's heat. Right?

Beta's are similar!

If an Alpha is mated or courting a Beta, an Alpha can influence the Beta's biology and push them into something that is just like a heat, but it isn't since the Alpha needs to be around for it to be triggered / work.

It's the same for the opposite, if an Omega goes into heat and they are mated or being courted by a Beta, the Beta can be influenced into a Rut. It's not a 'real rut' by any means, but it helps soothe Omega's well enough even if just cuddling.

Packmates being in Rut or Heat will not trigger either in a Beta, as it is specific mating biology that none of us really understand.

They're forgetting that Beta's carry a lot of the Pack emotions, because that is something pretty important too. Beta's can feel everyone in the pack, and can feel everything they are feeling if they look for it.

Yeah, Beat's need a lot of help emotionally, or at least they need help remembering to take time for themselves and truly taking care of themselves. Which is okay, people can get caught up in their roles in any pack, and I do mean that anyone can get caught up like that.

We don't really get caught up like that, do we?

Will, how do you force yourself to eat enough calories to survive every day without forgetting or being too lazy somehow? You're a medi, right? What's the solution short of stuffing a person full until they pop like a balloon.?

Oh! That can be tough to do!

I think the best thing to do would be to just eat what you can, but in moderation. It's better if it's healthy, but I absolutely follow the "fed is best" policy.

I am a medic, yes, but I don't know everything so please take everything with a grain of salt and remember everyone is different.

Okay, I asked Percy and Leo, and the two are letting me use them as examples.

Percy struggles remembering to eat sometimes, so he'll set reminders on his phone with Annabeth; Leo even created an app specifically for this. The app is on both Annabeth and Percy's phones and it lets Annabeth know when Percy's missed a meal if she isn't at camp or if he isn't, and she can send him a message reminding him to either eat or to update the app.

He eats more fruits and meats, loves his moms' cookies but something from his childhood stops him from making them himself, or eating too many when his mom makes them.

Also, he eats easier when he has his baby sister or Jason with him, because Jason absolutely cannot miss a meal and reminds Perce to take care of himself.

Now, Leo is a harder case because he avoids eating around other people, and he doesn't like to eat in general. But he'll eat (most times) if someone messages him to eat. Normally Jason or Piper can or will get him to eat; a sandwich, blackberries, or a baked treat from Hazel. Sometimes he'll make a pizza, homemade because he hates store bought, and he'll have someone come eat with him.

I know Percy's had pizza with him several times, and Nico does too.

And advice that's not stuffing someone full enough they pop like a balloon, as you said, would be to have little snacks on you at all times; which is something Nico does. A small bag of chips, a few cookies, fruit cups, or even a yogurt cup! Sandwiches are hard to keep good throughout a day, but maybe if you see a sandwich shop, stopping to get something small!

Actually, yeah, whoever asked that last one seemed really strange. Then again, no hate or anything, but, why is mentioning the sexual preference's of minors so important on this blog?

The sexual preference of minors is not important on this blog, but a lot of the time, I see Pride often added to the PJO universe, which is huge for the pride community. And teenagers are often figuring themselves out and I do want this to be a safe place for teens and for people figuring themselves out while being something fun at the same time.

If it seemed like I was making the preference of minors as something more important than it was, especially since I do have a rule of nothing NSFW because the characters are minors, then I apologize and will work on fixing that because that was never my intent nor will it ever be my intent.

If I can make anything more clear, I will absolutely try to, as well as thinking up some more rules to help make this a little more safer for everyone. Of which, I am always open to suggestions! You guys are the community and having community input is always huge and very important to me.

Percy: What's your favorite thing about each of the seven?

My favorite thing about the seven... hmm... that might be a difficult question! I'm gonna see if I can break this down by person...

Annabeth: I think the thing that's my favorite about Annabeth, would be how she always takes the time to make sure that when she is teaching classes that everyone understands what's going on, even doing study groups after dinner.

Piper: Piper... She always has a witty comeback whenever people talk shit about her being the daughter of her parents, and I do mean both of her parents. Unfortunately, a lot of people at camp don't like Piper for how she presents herself, or because of either parent.

Jason: Jason is always quick to learn something when he doesn't understand it. He took the time to really learn Greek when he learned that it's some of our default when we're really upset, distressed, or excited. And he learned Spanish for Leo so that he could understand all of Leo's excitement when he's working on new blueprints.

Leo: Leo is always quick to try and fix something if anyone mentions something wrong. He created phones that we could use to communicate easier than we were before, and he's always willing to help the younger kids make s'mores after dinner.

Hazel: Hazel is always making jewelry, which is something she's started to give out to campers whenever someone is down. Since her curse broke, she's been really anxious that each gem that doesn't harm someone is a fluke, so it's not often, but all of the seven has friendship bracelets, with a gem representing each of us that she made by hand. No bracelet is the exact same and it's the coolest thing.

Frank: Frank is always trying to make the younger campers laugh by transforming into animals at inopportune times and always while mid sentence or in the middle of a conversation. He even gets the older campers when it's really shocking or sudden.

Nico: Always willing to lend an ear, and really good at keeping secrets. I saw him once looking up a recipe for a camper that had lost their own copy, it was a really hard to find dessert from their home, and Nico traveled somewhere to, what we call the "Underworld" in camp, find someone who knew it.

Will: Will is always smiling and humming to whatever song is stuck in his head at that time. And he is always ready to start a sing-a-long with the kids, just to see them smiling and having fun, especially when the day hasn't been the brightest. Metaphorically and literally.

I should probably add Thalia, otherwise I'll get electrocuted when she visits camp next...

Thalia: She's really protective of those she sees as her 'pups' or those she sees as her pack. Which are two different things, for those who are unaware. She'll take the first stand if someone's hurt, or predicted to get hurt soon. And she does not give a fuck about your presentation or lack thereof. Treats everyone the same, and that's by how much respect she has for you or how close she is to you.

Annabeth has told me that if I am joining the account, I have to make an introduction, so... here I am.

I am an Alpha, not interested in men, and also not interested in relationships. I like hunting and camping, and I spend my time doing both of those things with a group of girls. We look out for ourselves, but we do accept women and girls that are okay rejecting men for, essentially, life.

Jason is my younger brother, though I'm so annoyed that he's taller than me. Annabeth is like my sister, and I'm okay with Jason being Percy's brother... as weird as all of that sounds.

I don't know how to end this, other than; be cool people, rock out to banger music, star gaze when you can, and absolutely take care of the earth and animals around you.

Hey there! Not all of the Seven are Omegas, so I think I'm going to pass this off to them!

Hey! So, this is a question that's different for everyone, and I'm sorry you're goin' through this.

Personally, cuddling with the Pack Beta helps a lot when we can't have an Alpha helping us. At least, I know it helps me a lot, and Percy is always down for a good cuddling session.

I eat a lot of chocolate, embarrassingly enough. And cuddling with Frank while he's shifted into a bigger animal that can curl around me makes me feel really safe, even safer when we're in our nest too!

Oh, and nesting is such a big factor too!

Yes! Pack nests and omega nests, plus heat nests! All of them are so important, and spending even just an hour inside of one helps so much!

You will feel weak, so don't forget that, you'll want to rest as much as possible, and I know you mentioned about going through the heat with such a busy schedule, but I know very few Omega's that can go through their heat like everything was normal.

I'm gonna chime in, so sorry about that, but from both a medical stand point and as an Alpha, it's not highly recommended trying to ignore it, so just getting through it is probably your best bet. Take the time off, sometimes a heat is triggered by you over-working and over-stressing yourself so you need the time to rest.

Plus you don't want the risk of an Alpha getting possessive, either a close friend or a sibling that's very protective of ya. The infirmary at camp has rooms that are available for Omegas in heat if they don't have someone to watch over them and make sure they are eating and staying hydrated.

You said you wanted to hear from all of the pack, so I'm gonna chime in as well... But even if you do need to stay moving and stay doing things, just having someone beside you to lean against helps too. Sometimes when Leo, Hazel or Piper need someone to sit with them but don't want to be in the nests, they come to me or Jason, or even Nico on the occasions if they can't find us, or if they know Jase and I will worry. Sitting next to a Beta can help a lot and keep you safe at the same time.

Yeah, Piper likes to tuck against my side and read out in the fields sometimes, because sunlight is very important too! I know the cabins have a sun room for these reasons too. And Leo likes to cling to either Percy's or I's back because he doesn't want to be alone, but he also doesn't want to stop us from working.

Hazel likes to bake while in heat sometimes, so even just having myself or Frank in the room helps her, but she has really soft heats, so I don't know how different the heats are. I... need to look into that more.

Shaking will be normally, and eating fruits will help a lot too. I know Hazel likes strawberries, but Piper likes blueberries. I have yet to pinpoint what fruits Leo likes, but it can help a lot to know.

I think the one I love to summon the most are... Opals, because they are so pretty and when they are in water they they sort of sparkle?

The one I want to wear really badly is... I think an Tigers Eye, or maybe a Strawberry Quartz! I love the meanings behind all of the gems! I know Nico likes studying flowers for the same reason.

And the one I think is the prettiest is absolutely Amythest!

So yeah, a lot of different answers. There are so many fun and cool gems so it's almost hard to choose, but those are the three that are high on my list!
