Mspec lesbians, lesboys, ftm lesbians, and more are real valid identities, but lots of queer youth tend to invalidate these identities because it doesn’t fit into the harsh boxes of identity. So here’s a reminder

The humans brain is so complicated that you can’t just force everyone to describe themselves within a box, or force yourself to fit in that box. as we all absorb the magnitude of how horrible netflix’s so-called persuasion (2022) seems to be, I am going to ask y’all now NOT to watch it.

yes, that’s right. don’t watch it. DON’T EVEN HATEWATCH IT! don’t watch it to write about it - that’s what the reviewers’ jobs are. don’t watch it all, because even hatewatching or gripewatching IS STILL A WATCH TO NETFLIX. they still get to count it for their stats, and next thing you know, they’re coming for jane eyre or something with this template.

and please, please, reblog this. tell your mom not to watch it. tell your buddies not to watch it, tell your bffs not to bother. just make these numbers tank as much as they possible can, because that and cancelling netflix subscriptions are the only response they’re going to respond to.
