Being neurodivergent means sometimes/oftentimes not being able to regulate your emotions in certain situations. For instance, if you ask me to explain something (particularly, something personal), I'll either a) say something vague and then attempt to change the subject, or b) show frustration as I attempt to answer. While the frustration could be a natural reaction to the situation or nuances at the time, it's also a by-product of trying to respond in a way that a neurotypical person can understand without inviting judgment or unsolicited advice.

In short, I'm not necessarily angry at you, but more at myself for failing to convey the how and why which may not fit your expectations or assumptions. And, honestly, it's exhausting.

This may be the funniest reaction I’ve seen of a couple reacting to their NC scene yet. The sheer mortification and horror on their faces can be felt on a visceral level. They’re both clutching at their pearls and wishing the ground would swallow them up whole.

Never has "Man Suang" been marketed as anything other than a cultural/period film. While the main actors became famous through another genre (which they're actively trying to change for the better), it's sad how some people ignore the official promotion and assume there's going to be elements of anything else. Criticizing the film as not having enough of "ABC" (ex. explicit romance) when there wasn't any focus on that in the first place is very insulting to the actors and their message. The fetishization of queer media in Asia needs to stop. Limiting a fictional work and artists to MLM/WLW categories, etc. does more harm if there's no focus on it to begin with.

Apo: I think the key is that you must not see it as a BL film. Mile: Otherwise, your imagination will be ruined or limited since the beginning. Apo: I always tell myself that it's not normal to classify WLW, MLM, or whatever. [...] If we see it naturally, anything is possible. People living together would want to develop their relationships. I see it as a couple wanting to develop their relationship. That's why Kinn and Porsche happened. It's not just who Kinn and Porsche are, or who the other characters are. You know, looking at this scene again, what stands out to me is how… uneven it is.

Vegas has his gun drawn on Kinn, ready to shoot, and yet I can’t help but feel sorry for Vegas.

How long he’s dreamt of this moment…

How much time and energy has Vegas spent - wasted - hating Kinn? How much of Vegas’s mind has been occupied by this constant loathing for someone who… spends far less time thinking about him?

Like, Kinn does hate Vegas, but we only see him take defensive moves against him. He doesn’t seek Vegas out to annoy him, or send assassins after him. Kinn has a life outside of Vegas, but Vegas…

And I think, in this moment, Kinn realizes that too.
