“Definitely not that.” She’d say with a sad sigh. Poor Ayano didn’t know how she was going to break the news to Chitose, although it was harder trying to hide her true emotions.

Hello Chitose, how have you been?

“Ayano-chan, hello.” She smiled, adjusting her glasses “ive been great, how’ve you been?”

“I’m not, I swear.” She’d say gently, the memories flashing before her, her hands shaking in fear.

“Ayano-chan, hello.” She smiled, adjusting her glasses “ive been great, how’ve you been?”

“Nothing much, just general stuff.” She tried keeping her cool, not letting any emotions leak out from anything that happened.

Upon hearing this she irked a little. “Yeah, I have.” her voice sounding somewhat unusual.

“Ayano-chan, hello.” She smiled, adjusting her glasses “ive been great, how’ve you been?”

“Same here!” Ayano smiled back, “It’s great to see you again.”

“Yeah, you too. Thank you so much...” she said while her voice slowly trailed off. Her first interaction with someone didn’t go as she wanted it to but at least she’d been able to talk to at least one person. She had overheard someone speak about a Literature Club. Ayano though perhaps she should check it out. Although the Student Council would’ve been her ideal option, she wanted to try something new.

Ayano walked into the classroom, it was intimidating for her since she was at a completely different school and she knew nobody. This all reminded her of her first day in middle school but she tried to brush it off. She noticed a girl with pink hair with ribbons in it. She decided to try and talk with her. 

“U-Um… hello.” Usually, she would be more confident than this but the environment was so different from her last school that it almost made her uncomfortable.

*Natsuki turned around at the sound of a meek voice* “Hmm?” “Uh… hi.” “Who are you?” “You must be new, cause I would’ve seen you around before if you weren’t.” “Well, whatever, make it quick, I have somewhere to be.”

“Yeah, alright…” She was starting to get embarrassed by how she was acting, this wasn’t like her at all. “I was wondering if you could just recommend me any clubs..? I was originally going to join the Student Council, but it seems that there is already a handful of people who joined.” Ayano was starting to think she should’ve asked someone else, since the look on Natsuki’s face made her think that she didn’t want to talk to her.

“Well, I don’t know all the clubs, I don’t care about all that stupid stuff, but I don’t even know what you like so how could I just pick a club for you?” “That makes no sense, and then if you didn’t like it you’d blame me instead of realizing it’s your fault for joining a club you weren’t interested in and…” *sigh* “Look, pick a club after looking around or talking to people who seem cool, I mean I know it’s why you asked me, cause i’m the coolest person in this school, but talk to other less cool people, but who you think would be similar I guess.”

“Anyways, I have to get to my club and you’re holding me up so i’ll see you around I guess”
