Hi Isa! I always miss your art streams and saw an ask where you said it can still be found on twitch after but when I checked it says no videos found or is it like a subscription thing or does it only stay there a few hours after stream? I don't really use twitch so I'm not sure but I'd love to watch you drawing!! Your art is so godly!!
Hello! Twitch VODs have an expiration date, so after a certain amount of time they will no longer be there unless downloaded. I record speedpaints for my Patreon, but recently people have been requesting that I record my streams as well and put those there as well! I might do that soon if I can.
Thank you!

would you have a schedule for your streams?
No, I don’t follow schedules for streams. I just stream when I feel like it. However, I typically try to stream by noon or 1 Pm EST on weekdays and weekends. I will also post before I stream to let people know that that’s what I have planned to do!

hi, this is a really humble and sincere request if you could please have your drawing streams on twitch as videos. i live in a different timezone+college keeps me busy so i often miss them. please please please
My twitch streams are always up after I stream there. Otherwise, I’m on Picarto, but I’d have to pay to keep VODs on the platform (which I don’t want to do), sorry!

at what age did your art really start to improve? or when did you really begin to focusing on your art? ive tried to find some old pieces of yours but i havent been able to find too many, im really curious to see the improvement youve made! seeing the improvement over the years towards artists i look up to really gives me courage and confidence!!
also, if this isnt too much to ask on top of that, did you go from traditional to digital quickly? how was the process? is it hard to get used to programs and all, the coloring, shading, brushes?
I feel like I’m constantly working towards improvement so it’s a little hard for me to pin-point exactly when that change was.
But I did notice an accelerated improvement when I got to college. Currently, I’m a junior, and in highschool I would draw every other day, but when I’m in art school I’m constantly surrounded by artwork and the need to create, so just that healthy habit of drawing a bit every day helped me!
I don’t have many of my old works because I really suck at keeping documentation of things. Which is unfortunate, because I realize now how important it is to keep those older artworks to gauge just how much I’ve improved on days where I’m feeling imposter syndrome.
Luckily, I was able to find an old drawing from 2022:

As for your last questions:
Everything is an adjustment, and this experience isn’t universal. I started digital art in freshman year of high school and I practically jumped at the opportunity to draw on my computer every day after school. It took me about three days to get the hand of using a small Wacom tablet. I now use an XP-Pen Artist 16 2nd Generation and Xp-Pen Artist 22E. I started with FireAlpaca, but every program comes with a learning curve. Allow yourself to patiently navigate all the things your program has to offer. As soon as you feel overwhelmed or frustrated, I’d recommend setting it to the side to explore more of later. I currently use Clip Studio Paint, but not even I know all the things it has to offer yet. I probably am using… 15% of all it’s handy tools.
Finding your own artistic voice with digital art is always fun. You have a plethora of brushes and tools to use to your advantage. Like I mentioned above, take time to explore all your different options. Think of it not as being difficult, but rather that you have SO many gifts to choose from that will ultimately feature itself in your artwork later. You are using the tool, the tool is not using you.
You got this!!

Man, you're such a huge inspiration for me. Your style and the way you can create such dynamic poses is absolutely mesmerizing.
Do you have any tutorials that you can recommend? Gumroad classes? The way you've been improving is incredible, I wanna go to the school you're going to ngl ;;;;;
Thank you so much, I sincerely hope you can achieve greatness and meet your goals just as anyone else can. You can do it! (more below)
I really wish I can know how to effectively communicate how to “get better,” but a lot of the time, it just feels ingenuine and boring (because, practice, duh, will get you places!). Saying to practice over and over is just a snooze fest.
One day I just woke up and everything clicked for me. It was an inexplicable feeling. I am definitely not the best that I can be, and I hope I can get better quickly, but I just *know* that I can create the art that I want - and that alone is enough of a reassurance to me.
Can’t draw hands? Just do it. Can’t draw feet? Just do it. Can’t draw backgrounds? Just do it.
So, unfortunately, I can’t recommend any tutorials since I don’t use them, but I encourage you to play around with different digital brushes if you have the means. I also don’t think going to art school, besides the live nude model sessions, has really played a part in my improvement, as I spend my time mostly out of school drawing.
I have taken a few classes in Underpaint Academy (Narrative Illustration, Character design currently). You could look up Devin Korwin and Adrian Bush to see if they’re hosting anything soon. It’s pricey and will take up a few hrs of your weekends, but it was an invaluable experience to gain a new perspective from industry professionals.
Remember; the most important part of your art improvement is never giving up and always believing in yourself!

i love your art, would you have any advice on what resources to use to study art??
you inspire me to draw
Thank you ^^ I hope you can take that inspiration to create things that you love, enjoy, and are happy about!
As for resources, I noticed a very large and quick improvement when I studied things in real life rather than online. Something about being in the moment and present with your subject without that digital barrier connects much more with me.
I encourage you to “look” as much as you “play.” If that makes sense!
