#1 - What is age regression? What’s the difference between age regression and CGL?

Age regression is a psychological state in which someone's mindset will go into a previous state for a period of time. They will feel, think, and behave younger, most commonly as a toddler or little kid. Age regression is a coping mechanism and can be involuntary or voluntary. It can be used to cope with past/current trauma, mental or physical illnesses, general stress, and so on. It can also be used as a coping mechanism for those who've had missed or bad childhoods or who experienced forced maturity as a way to positively relive or reclaim that part of their life. This type of coping mechanism is suggested by some therapists, and accepted or encouraged by many others. Some regressors also have caregivers who take care of them when regressed and this relationship is referred to as CGLRE (caregiver and little regressor)

CGL, or cg/l, is a power exchange relationship in which one person is the caregiver or "daddy/mommy" and the other is childlike. It is NOT a relationship between an actual parent and child or any minor (if sexual). This is a type of BDSM relationship that may or may not involve sex, but often involves play with child-like things, such as stuffed animals, bed-time stories, and spankings. The little part of the relationship is often called the "little one."

#3 - What is crosstagging? Why is it bad?

Crosstagging is when you use both nsfw/kink tags and sfw/age regression tags on the same post and account.

Crosstagging is bad for both the age regression community and the kink community.

It exposes minors to kink and leaves them vulnerable to being harassed and sexualized. Exposing anyone to nsfw content without consent is not good, especially minors.

A lot of regressors are also recovering and coping and do not want to sexual things in their safe space because it can make them super uncomfortable and could even trigger them.

It also brings minors into adult communities and invades their sexual safe space.

In general crosstagging isn’t good because something therapeutic and kid friendly shouldn’t be mixed with sexual content.

#4 - What is a DNI? Why are they important?

DNI means Do Not Interact and interacting is anything like following, liking posts, messaging, commenting, etc.

So a DNI is a list of people that the accounts creator doesn’t want on their account.

The reason people have them is that regressors are on their age regression account to feel safe and so they can be open about their regression and want to feel secure on their account and having a DNI keeps out unwanted people!

Sometimes people have them so they don’t accidentally see something that could trigger them since a lot of regressors are extremely vulnerable and could be coping from trauma which is very sensitive. So if you follow age regression accounts you should always read their DNI out of respect and just to make sure your keeping their safe space safe!
