How did someone as cheap as Harry end up with someone who wastes money like it grows in trees?
But it’s getting harder and harder for Meghan to hire people. 90% of her coverage is paid PR. The big question-where is Meghan getting the money for the PR? She’s blown through the merching money.
Well, blackmail is legitimate currency in grifter land, that little black must be bursting.
Or it could be they are robbing Peter to pay Paul.

I’ve probably said this before, but it bears repeating. Corporations don’t release bullying reports on executives. They lay off (RIF/make redundant) the “victim” and pay them off. The good companies learn from the situation. The bad companies just hire someone else who might be able to handle the abuse better.
In the case of the RF? No one really cares about Meghan. There is some organic interest. Some people notice the pattern. But it’s getting harder and harder for Meghan to hire people. 90% of her coverage is paid PR.
The big question-where is Meghan getting the money for the PR? She’s blown through the merching money.

Russian lies are meant not only to disinform, to make action more difficult, but also to demotivate, to make action seem senseless. Russian memes work not by presenting Russia as a positive alternative, but by demoralizing others. No one wants to be close to "Nazis," and the simple introduction of the lie is confusing and saddening. The same holds with the Russian meme to the effect that Ukraine is corrupt. A completely bogus Russian source introduced the entirely fake idea that the Ukrainian president had bought yachts. Although this was entirely untrue, Representative Greene then spread the fiction. Senator J.D. Vance also picked up the "yacht" example and used it as his justification for opposing aid to Ukraine. The larger sense of that lie is that everyone everywhere is corrupt, even the people who seem most admirable; and so we might as well give up on our heroes, on any struggle for democracy, or any struggle at all. Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelens'kyi, chose to risk his life by remaining in Kyiv and defending his country against a fearsome attack from Russia which almost all outsiders believed would succeed within days. His daring gamble saved not only his own democracy, but opened a window of faith that democracies can defend themselves. It confirmed the basis lesson of liberty that individual choices have consequences. The lie directed at Zelens'kyi was meant not only to discredit him personally and undermine support for Ukraine, but also to persuade Americans that no one is righteous and nothing is worth defending.

No, they didn’t. There wasn’t the level of media we have today. We got People magazine in the US in 1974. Majesty magazine started in 1980. The RF needs to adapt if it wants to continue. Many royal families are now publishing birthday photos. One of the best developments of KCIII reign is using social media/the RF website to highlight what the family does. It shows people what their £2 is spent. And, yes, I know William has the Duchy of Cornwall. He will someday have to answer how the £2 is being earned.
Did I miss the part when Prince Louis became the "Monarchy"?
Can someone please ask Richard Palmer if BP released a new picture of Prince Edward or Princess Anne every birthday when they was growing up? The Anne and Edward comparison isn't even a good one tbh, they were the children of the reigning Monarch growing up, and Louis is the third child of the Heir.

Charles probably thinks he’s placating them so they don’t release any real dirt— dirt I’m sure H has from living in the bubble for years. My bet is that buying them off will only last for Charles’s lifetime. The Harkles will still cash in with the dirt after he’s gone, sad as it is to say. C is buying time, not silence.
Insightful little last line anon.

Was William around during this trip? It means that everyone else on the list is a technicality.

You’re right not to trust Charles.
This is his first overseas trip.
Thank you. This is a brilliant sobering reminder of Charles's games.
There is an old saying "Any King is as good as his word".
And I firmly believe Harry had been granted a special treatment in the USA precisely because of his still remaining status.
To which he had renounced his right himself.
He has got away with so much preposterous behavior because his father continues to enable and protect him.

Mark Roland Shand (28.06.1951- 23.04.2014)
This mischievous streak ran through him like words through Brighton rock. He abhorred pomposity and bossy rules. He never changed. He had a very strong belief that rules didn’t apply to him. And, somehow, he managed to get away with it too. We’ve lost our darling Mark. To talk about him in the past tense is gut-wrenching. Mark doesn’t suit the past tense. He was a man who lived very much in the moment. How lucky we all were to have had this giant, magnificent figure in our lives.  We wanted you for ever, Mark. - Tom Parker Bowles

Dear Anon - THANK YOU.
Anon said “We are what our parents make of us, for better or worse.”
Disagree. Harry is a grown *ss man. He’s been making poor decisions as an adult for years now & placing all the blame on Charles is ridiculous. Did parenting play a role in his development? Sure. But none of us are perfect parents and we’re not Harry. Charles did his best. Harry’s current failures & character flaws are due to Harry, not Charles. Harry is almost 40 years old & completely capable of turning his life around. Yet he’s choosing to wallow in bitterness, refuses scientific based therapy & has chosen to remain w a narcissistic partner. That’s on Harry.
Fair enough and thank you for pointing it out.

If this Passover feels ironically painful to you, you are not alone.
Passover is a time when we reflect on moving from slavery to freedom מֵעַבְדוּת לְחֵרוּת. With so many having their freedom forcibly taken away in unimaginable ways, it feels like since Oct 7 part of our own freedom is missing too.
I hope this Passover, despite the heavy hearts, brings you moments of peace and reflection.
Let's keep those who can't be with us in our thoughts and prayers, and use this time to appreciate and fight for the precious freedom we often take for granted.
Wishing you the best Passover possible under the circumstances. Let’s hold onto hope and push for a future where freedom is truly universal.
