Old Memories #2: Plague Marines

This Plague Marine is one of the only two I have taken pictures of, it's okay though I definitely overused typhus corrosion when I painted this model.

This Plague Marine was painted after a year long hiatus with painting Death Guard, I am actually quite happy how this one turned out though losing the light box in between these two being painted was a bit sad for me. Regardless I do still own this Plague Marine and I'll definitely be retaking his photos when I get a new light box.

WIP Commissions page, old memories and other news for my Tumblr page

Hey, it's been a few days since I last posted, Ive been hard at work helping getting an art gallery setup, and also getting a project to be ready for sale in said art gallery (I'll post pics soon) so here's a general idea for how I'm gonna move forward...

-1 Commissions page: I am going to start up commissions in the near future, I'm probably going to start local for the first couple, but I will open up to doing it nationally down the line.

-2 Personal Projects: So I currently have 3 armies for my personal use that I am working on, those who have been on my page/feed before have seen the Skaven I've been working on for AoS/Fantasy, however I do have a Drukhari army for 40k, and a Solar Auxilia army for Horus Heresy. I also have a Custodes army that I've been going back and forth with trying to decide whether to sell or finish them, though I'm leaning more towards the former. Regardless, I will be posting progress with those armies.

-3 Narrative Battle Reports: Another related project I have planned are narrative battle reports, as I have one currently in the making which is Warhammer Armies Project: Vampire Counts vs Empire. As much as I've tried I could never really get into watching standard battle reports and a big part of it is that I'm not to fond of watching raw gameplay but rather I enjoy a retelling of a game with a big focus on storytelling. Sort of like reading those tales of rpg's like All Guardsman Party or watching Fool's Gold by Dingo Doodles. The way I'm thinking of doing it is by trying to replicate battle map animation you would see on historical documentaries, except instead of making an artists rendition of a historical battle but that of the gameplay of the games I've played or refereed in (with the third party's permissions) though this will very much be a massive WIP and I wont have any guarantee's that I will go through with this one.

-4 Old Memories: To try to keep this page more active, and expand my portfolio, I am going to post older projects I have done, starting with models from my old Deathguard army. Starting right now...

SEPTEMBER 2019 Lord of Contagion and Noxious Blightbringer

The Deathguard were the 3rd army I have ever painted, though I had the models alongside my very first army(which were Space Marines), I didn't plan on painting them until one day I just decided to try them out, and I loved painting them, I do still own some of my DG mini's and I even have a kit-bashed Leviathan Dreadnought I still want to finish, though I do somewhat regret selling the models I did though at the time I had little choice, hopefully I will be just as proud of my current projects as I am with these guys...

Army update: didn't get much done today, though I've started on the chaff, though I did get to try out Non-metallic Metal painting for the first time and I think I might have pulled it off! The color scheme I'm going for is based off this art piece made by Wulfdawgart
