I have two questions: where is the first frame from, and also what doesn Robin's blurb mean? I don't get it...
The first frame is edited from a screen from Young Justice and a Batman: The Brave and the Bold tie-in comic.
Robin’s blurb references the fact that Chuck Dixon, a vocally homophobic writer, consistently writes characters which are interpreted both by fans and future writers as queer, Tim Drake being one of them. To “roll a natural one” refers to Dungeons & Dragons where you roll a die to determine your success on something and a “natural” (aka the number on the die without any relevant bonuses or penalties) one is the worst you can fail at a task.

#perhaps it’s the worlds best child fighters#how old is Connor in cannon now anyway#wasn’t he in his mid 20s preboot?#he seems much younger now but I could just be a fool
Nah b/c they go out of their way to explain WHY Shiva, Ben, Dragon, etc. aren’t there. Plus there’s characters like Lady Vic, Constantine Drakon, Brutale, Tigress, Nite-Wing, and Raptor who are all very much adults. It makes sense in universe why the lineup is the way it is, it just doesn’t make sense to say that they’re the best in the world.

That was such a weird plot point for DC to casually introduce in a C-list Bat book and then never mention again...

Just to be clear: I am loving this comic but the attempts to sell it as a competition between THE WORLD’S GREATEST FIGHTERS are pretty damn funny.
