The Ecological Selfie for FSTHEOR:
"Oh hai dur plant!"
Here's a selfie of mine that was captured at the 9th floor of the SDA building with a plant beside me.
Nature is something that we should really focus on especially now that technology is overpowering us all. It’s something that is way more important than technology, well I’m just saying. Without the help of our natural environment then we would be dead by now and rotting anywhere. And we wouldn't want that to happen to us someday. So I think that starting now, we should have the courage to change. A good change that people and as well the environment would appreciate.
One of the ways that we can help is by involving ourselves in such foundations or programs that are helping to save our environment, such as tree planting or participate in a fun run that would clean rivers like the one that we’re doing for the restoration of the Pasig river. Or maybe we could do it by ourselves by doing little things because even in the littlest thing that we do like throwing away trash in the proper place and conserving water would help save our environment. I know that I myself rarely do stuff like and involve myself to such programs because we are now used to be in the techy world that we tend to forget how to take care of our natural resources. But I believe it's not yet too late to save our Mother Earth. Let’s have that courage to change.
We shouldn’t be blaming the government that they’re not doing something about it because they just won’t listen to the protests and petitions anymore. So I think that it’s up to us if we’re going to make an independent action to save our environment. Let’s have the courage.

In Frozen, Anna is saved, not by true loves kiss or by the love of a prince (or rather guy who sells ice for a living) but by her sister’s love.
In Tangled, even without any dialogue, Rapunzel’s mother and father’s incredible love for their daughter is shown so clearly.
In Brave, the journey Merida takes has nothing to do with a prince or true love, but has everything to do with learning from her mistakes and coming closer to her mother in the process.
There are other kinds of beautiful relationships besides just romantic relationships. There are other kinds of love that are just as beautiful and heartwarming. Just was powerful.
