I recommend believing in the depths of your soul that you know exactly what you're doing and you will succeed and that the finished product will be great and singular and will save lives and contribute to the causal cascade by which the messianic era is to be effected. Anytime you start to question these affirmations immediately dismiss your doubts as baseless insecurity possibly imposed on you by capitalism and/or evil witches. If you start to feel like what you're drawing is unsalvageably bad immediately turn off your discursive brain and begin moving your hand automatically. Also never sketch or story board that takes too much time. You have to make as many drawings as fast as possible because you're going to die. We're all going to die.

lolita au pls pls pls pls pls

omg this one is even more half-baked than everything else... i just had an obsession with lolita this spring (still ongoing tbh) and obviously the book has such a strong relationship with tlt that... it's a rich text... we had a book club about it.... but so like ya john/alecto is humbert/annabel obviously and john/harrow is humbert/dolores so i was going to try and like... rewrite the plot of tlt with a humbertian/nabokovian prose style...... i dont know i think i made the file in a manic state it literally only has the opening passage of lolita for reference and then:

Harrowhark, blood of my body, marrow of my bone. My death, my resurrection. Har-row-hark: the breath coursing outward from gasp to growl, brought up short by a cry in the night. Har. Row. Hark.

of all my WIPs this is definitely the one with the hugest gap between my vision for the work and my skill to make it happen lol so. it probably won't happen.

on your hands and knees you say? well ofc you know that it's a sequel to tight fade a fun nasty pwp dubcon romp where cytherea is the frail sugary-sweet dom, loveday is her adoring wife and sub top, and gideon is their abused & degraded houseboy-slash-bottom! the series will be named "family dog (derogatory)" ofcccc ^_^

well i’d LOVE to ask about “harrow/ortus christian domestic discipline” for the WIP meme!!

ahhh you guys love to pick the most horrible ones LOL. well this is based on blogs and forums about real life christian domestic discipline relationships which are so heartwrenching and torturous to me to read about that i thought writing about them would be fascinating. i pulled inspiration for the character dynamics from real people's stories i've read online. so im going to put this under a cut actually because it's pretty gnarly

so basically in this one harrow and ortus are in a mixed-orientation marriage (lesbian & gay respectively) but were pushed to marry each other, and they and their families belong to a creepy fundie church where cdd relationships are practiced. with an added component of harrow having been beaten as a child in a sexually humiliating way by her father, so you get like the resonance of is it her husband or her father... flashbacks... etc...

Your husband is in his undershirt. His shoes are lined up beneath the foot of the bed beside yours. Only a bedside light is on, crook-necked: as his great reluctant bulk crosses the room, his shadow leaps through its spotlight on the wall. You perch in your nightgown on the edge of the bed, hands jammed beneath your thighs. The comforter in your parents’ guest room is slippery as horsehair, with a bulky, mushy, insubstantial inside, and your toes press hard into the floor to keep you from sliding off.

i got about 1000 words on this one but then i reread it later and the prose was so hideous and i was so upset to have written something so ugly that i maybe had a tantrum and don't want to work on it anymore. plus id have to read a TON more blogs to get that cloying pinterest brave-little-smiles a-reason-a-season-or-a-lifetime tone accurate and that might kill my soul a bit too much

oh and gideon is her wild-child foster sister who grew up with her from like age 12 to 15 but ran away/parents threw her out when she was starting to be obviously gay and she and harrow were kind of having a thing. and because of that harrow has "lobotomized herself" through evangelical doublethink and doesn't think about her lol. ugh this one would be good........... i just hate what i have so far SO much

Okay barking at Cyth/Dulcie in the shuttle, I've been waiting for someone to write this!

ah yes.... in the running for one of my evilest works lol. this is just an outline + some canon notes at this point and it's only going to be a shorty anyway but basically it's like... cytherea grilling dulcie in the shuttle with protesilaus lying dead at their feet about everything to do with her life and personality and behavior... including what dulcie looks/acts like when she has sex. and cyth is determined to achieve faithfulness to the real deal no matter what O_O very much a girlfriend twin identity stealing bodysnatcher horror thing, with noncon because i enjoy wretched things

You broke off, racked by mucosal coughs. The stranger tilted her head, birdlike. “Oh, I know that one.” She thumped her narrow chest with her fist and produced the same coughs in the same pitch and register, ending with the same pretty thread of bloody sputum trailing from one corner of her mouth.

the first half is narration from dulcie's pov (not quite settled on second person we're still workin on it) and the second half is epistolary, in the form of a wistful/romantic letter from cytherea to the dead loveday about all the details of her newest little conquest O_O" I will probably veil most of the horror between the lines of the cyth pov because i also enjoy that kind of thing
