Do you need Bar Kochba Letter? You are in the right place. One of the men mentioned in this historical record is Alma son of Judah. This certainly provides evidence that the name Alma was used as a male name and not exclusively as female, as it was earlier assumed.

The Information you need to know about Book of War Scroll
Tumblr media
Investigations into the historical background of the Dead Sea Scrolls have been hampered by the assumption that these scrolls are somehow linked to the archaeological site of Qumran for the past fifty years. In this guide, you can get the information you need to know about the Book of War Scroll and the history behind it.
At present, there is a rising detection in the field that the archaeology of Qumran is ultimately irrelevant to the question of sectarian genesis over many tactics. The historical fact about the Book of War Scroll reveals the conflict between good & evil in the final days of mankind commonly known as "The War of the Sons of Light against the Sons of Darkness". It is discovered among the seven original Dead Sea Scrolls at Qumran in 1947 & holds the Qumran library designator of "1QM", which means it was shaped from the cave’s dig. It is historically reasonable to propose that the War Scroll is a significant piece of literature in our understanding of the perceptions of divine justice & revenge held by the Jewish community of the Essenes & the Qumran Community in the time of Jewish persecution.
According to many archaeologists, The War Scroll is one of the first Dead Sea Scrolls that was discovered in Qumran in 1947 and the Book of War scroll is supposed to be the final chapter of the War Scroll. Out of ten, this reproduction is the first fragment that comprises the Book of War which consists of ten fragments that were found in Qumran Cave eleven. The conversion of the blessing may tend to ‘May God Most High bless you, may he show you his face, and maybe open for you his treasure which is in the heavens, to cause to fall down on your earth showers of blessing, dew, and rain, early and late rains in their season, and give you fruit the harvest of wheat, of wine and of oil in prosperity. And the land will yield in the purpose of agriculture to harvest delicious fruits for you.
A lot of the Book of War scroll is truly based on military history such as ranks and formations, weapons, armor, and maneuvers, trumpets and flags so on…. Moreover, it is mentioned that when this scroll was written, it was a valuable contribution to our understanding of the means and methods of the Roman armies in the first centuries before and after the Common Era.

The Paleo-Hebrew Leviticus Scroll was considered as one of the last of these discoveriesdiscovered in a caveby local Bedouins of the Taʿamireh clan. It had been hidden along with other manuscripts like the Great Psalms Scroll (11QPs), the Temple Scroll (11QT),and the paleo-Hebrew Leviticus scrollin "Qumran Cave 11, about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) north of Khirbet Qumran. The cave’s entrypoint had been sealed-off with fallen wreckage and large rocks as well as the cave's roof had also collapsed. So it was unreachable for many centuries.

When it comes to the original scroll, it dates back to a time between late 2nd-century BCE to early 1st-century B.C.E and other place its writing in the 1st-century CE.
As we mentioned above that this scroll was written in paleo-Hebrewwhich is a form of ancient Hebrew script. You should know that the original scroll was finished from goatskin with the text engraved on the grain side of the skin. Talking about the written pattern of the text in this scroll, it is simply indicated that it was written by a single experienced scribe.
The presented reproduction of the fragments reflects the lower portion of the final six columns of the original manuscript. From right to left, the Biblical passages depicted on those fragments are as follows:  Frag. 2: Lev 21:6-11, Frag. 3+4: Lev 20:1-6, Frag. 7: Lev 16:1-6.
