I really thought this pairing would be more electric. Ellis and Olyphant had absolutely no chemistry and it was so cringe watching them interact. And why is she dressed like a damn middle school principal who shops exclusively at Ross?!

Olyphant has never had better chemistry than with Natalie Zea, so glad she shows up in the end. Raynona forever.

They had zero chemistry. It was painful. I love Ellis but she was brutally miscast and they had some sort of vendetta against her because she was wearing the most god awful, unflattering clothing.

The funny thing is, he's definitely not talking about her here. In the same episode, he tells Ava that Winona is the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. She's such a stage five clinger, it doesn't even register that this man is never going to want anything serious with her while he's PINING for his ex-wife.

And a few seconds later, Raylan is back to making eyes at Winona. Carolyn didn't know him. She didn't understand why he made the decision he did. How could she? She knew him for less than 2 weeks and not once did he open up to her. Calling him Ray is the biggest red flag, that's definitely not his nickname.

Winona knows him better than anyone else. And she's the only person who even asks him if he's ok. She'll always be the love of his life. The way he watches her as she drives away. All the feels.
