“Vulnerable” The naked body is symbolism for vulnerability. At 5 AM, when your eyes are heavy with the weight of exhaustion but your mind is still running as though it were a hamster on its wheel, you're incredibly vulnerable to the most heinous of thoughts. You're stuck with the punishment of remembering that your life - if not life itself - is nothing but a meaningless blur; it's a phase to pass the time. You remember that your perspective is what chains you; you see beyond yourself, but you cannot escape the entrapment of your own mind. Your sketch book is the only friend you feel is trustworthy enough to hear you confess your sense of mortality. It will not judge you, even though you're ripe for a beating. It will take a hit for you instead; some pen; some ink. You're left with this drawing. You then put it on Tumblr, just to have it overlooked in lieu of some fan art of the next big thing in pop culture. At least typing this out was relaxing to you. The effort was not entirely wasted.
