How Fajri's Interest in Drones Began
Balancing the need of hobby and responsibility as a college student, Muhammad Nur Fajri is now in the senior year of his college life. He’s majoring in forestry department in INSTIPER Yogyakarta, where that is obvious would demand a great passion and skills. While doing his thesis, Fajri tends to spend his free time enjoying piloting by drone, capturing the beauty of nature and producing artwork to spread to many people to enjoy.

Fajri’s passion for drone artwork began in 2021, when he entered college in Yogyakarta. “Firstly, it began with my interest in travelling through nature, I was seeking a different angle of view from common cameras, so I tried to do a drone,” he recalled. Even though it felt unfamiliar and fidgety, he kept trying until he successfully mastered flying a drone with high concentration.
And eventually, his artwork not only for personal collection, but also to earn additional income. Fajri has been working on several projects, from the small one to a big one. This ranges from tourism documentation to cooperation with TV stations such as the ‘Si Bolang’ program. One moment he cherished the most is the one when he documented the revitalization of Surakarta city for Mr. Gibran's project.
The challenges that Fajri feels
There is a challenge for him. As a senior year student, he stated himself that having a hobby as a side job while getting busier with the thesis a bit made him a little overwhelmed. “Sometimes thesis consultation schedules clash with drone jobs,” said Fajri. To overcome that, He was not reluctant to ask for help from fellow drone pilots to back up his unavailability to take over his job. He has a high responsibility to finish his studies.
With that, Fajri still very much enjoys every process of these experiences. He admits that this hobby of his brings many benefits, from improving skills to providing job opportunities. “ Nowadays, big companies need drones for work efficiency, so I believe this job is relevant for the long-run investment.” he asserts. Indeed, the application of this artwork is very wide, including the fields of forestry major, such as land mapping, area surveys, and project documentation of environmental projects.

Gunung Api Purba in Yogyakarta Fajri's Favorite Drone Photo
One of the aspects that sets Fajri apart from other drone creators is his unique perspective. He shared with us his favorite drone photo, which was taken at Gunung Api Purba in Yogyakarta. “This photo means a lot to me because I had to climb a hill to get the perfect shot. The moment was so rare, and the view was stunning. It really captures the beauty of nature,” he explained. Fajri’s dedication to capturing breathtaking landscapes, often after physical effort, demonstrates his commitment to delivering high-quality work.
When it comes to competition, Fajri acknowledges the growing number of drone pilots, but he remains optimistic. “The competition has definitely gotten tougher. There are more drone pilots now, but I see that as motivation to continue improving my work. I need to keep up with trends and refine my skills to stand out,” he said. This proactive approach to competition helps him continue to evolve in an industry that is becoming increasingly crowded.
Despite the challenges, Fajri stays positive and determined. “There’s no such thing as a smooth ride. I’ve received criticism before, like people saying my videos were too short or needed improvement. But I take all feedback constructively. Every critique helps me grow and become better,” he shared with a smile.
When it comes to his future long-term plan, Fajri humbly responds to us. For him, he now only thinks of drones as his pure, enjoyable hobby which by happenstance yields extra cash. But still, he is committed to improving his passion in this field and hopefully for all of his artworks bringing benefits to many people.
In the end, Fajri’s journey shows how passion can be harnessed into something impactful. His ability to balance his studies with a growing drone photography career, while continuing to inspire others, makes him a role model for young people everywhere. Fajri’s story is a reminder that with the right attitude and dedication, any hobby can become a meaningful part of one’s future.

Note for Readers
For the readers who desire to be a video creator, especially using drones, Fajri advised not to give up easily and to always be consistent. “ To have a tough mentality is essential, Moreover, there are drone flight rules that must be followed, if possible, have a drone pilot certificate to make it safer.” His advice.
There’s a specific rule for piloting a drone in Indonesia regulated in Article 2 of PM No. 90/2015, which is 150 meters above ground level. This height is set to prevent interference to aircraft flying in low airways, such as helicopters.

Solaria Fried Rice: A Pleasure that Never Fails
Tumblr media
Fried rice, surely everyone had fried rice! People even also have their family version of fried rice. may be a Chinese version of fried rice, or even the sweet soy sauce Indonesian-style fried rice. It is one of the most common comfort foods of all time.
Even until now fried rice is still one of the most sought-after foods there is when people order. Fried rice uses ingredients like rice, vegetables, and meats that can make the dish go together harmoniously.
One of my recommendations for fried rice is from Solaria, a chain restaurant that focuses on Chinese-Indonesian dishes. Solaria fried rice is the most anticipated food from Solaria. I always go for their Special fried rice, the dish comes with a fried egg at the top rather than the usual, which makes this fried rice more filling. The rice itself is perfectly cooked – not too oily or greasy, with each grain standing distinct yet infused with just the right amount of seasoning. The soy sauce undertones are there without overwhelming the dish, and the slight smokiness from the stir-frying process gives it an earthy richness that makes each bite irresistible.
The addition of pickled vegetables on the side provides a nice crunch and freshness, cutting through the richness of the rice. The proteins, including pieces of chicken and fish meatballs, are always tender and juicy, offering just the right texture. There’s also a delicate hint of garlic and a whisper of heat from a dash of chili, which adds depth but doesn’t overwhelm the overall flavor.
The portion that they offer is always more than enough for one person's meal, with the mid-range pricing of the food can make a person rely on their money for the expectation that what they are getting is more satisfactory.

Llaollao: The Ice is Ice-ing!
Tumblr media
I mean like, how can you be so tasty?!
I love yogurt! Especially yogurt ice cream. You know what? Yogurt has always been my number one food to make my day, no other food can do that for me except yogurt!
If you are wondering why I love yogurt so much, it's simply not only because it's delicious and fresh but also because it has many health benefits, psstt especially for women!
No, I'm not gonna describe the benefits of yogurt but BETTER. Yes, better! So here I will describe something that can make you feel like heaven. Guys listen, I'm not kidding you! This is my honest review about "llaollao" and don't you dare think that this is a sponsored post huh!
Llaollao is a yogurt ice cream originally from Spain. For more information, maybe you can Google it because I can't wait to tell you about this yogurt ice cream. My first llaollao experience started out of curiosity when I passed by the stand, and I decided to try it. At that time, I tried pistachio sauce with granola as a topping and when that ice cream hit my taste buds—GODDEYM! I was thinking, "Ain't no way this food exists in this world." Y'all MUST try that pistachio sauce because it won't make you regret buying it.
There are so many toppings and sauce options that you can choose from, like chocolate, white chocolate, mango, almond, cookie, and more (I can't even remember them all!). You really have to try it yourself, but just remember, one of my top recommendations is the PISTACHIO sauce. It’s the perfect balance of creamy, nutty, and just the right amount of sweetness that will make you crave it again and again! *drooling*
Now, the only problem you might find with llaollao is the price. However, with that rich taste, it’s definitely worth it. Maybe you can buy it as a little self reward or just to make your day! If you're wondering how much it costs, the price ranges from around 50,000 to 80,000 rupiah, depending on the size and toppings you choose. While it might seem a bit pricey just for an ice cream, the experience and flavor make it totally worth the splurge

A bowl of happiness, you must not resist!
Tumblr media
Ramen? Ramyun? but surely which one is it, noodles combined with spices in dry or even especially in soup form, YUM! Do you hear that sound somewhere? *slurping*.
In Indonesia, the popularity of these culinary frames in one bowl has very high demand. We're specially discussing one topic this time. International cuisine dish from Japan, the name known as Ramen. Traditionally known as a rich, flavour noodle soup, has been spread out and can be found anywhere in the world.
While ramen is a beloved dish around the world, its journey to Indonesia is still relatively new. Over the past decade, more and more ramen restaurants and ramen shops have opened in major cities, catering to the food-loving millennial generation. The rising popularity of Japanese entertainment culture, anime, and food-related television shows have also contributed to ramen's increasing popularity as a trendy and accessible food.
Authentically Japanese Ramen is often found sticking to original flavour, such as miso ramen, shoyu (soy sauce) ramen, tonkotsu (pork). And since Indonesia is a predominantly a muslim country, there's so many ramen restaurants that offer halal options, they use chicken or beef as the base of the broth.
As a personal opinion, I often get called a curly girl even though my hair is straight, indicating how much I loved eating noodles back then! The first time I ate (ramen), I'm in love! If i have to mention one name, it's from Ramen Ya! everyone’s favorite. I love its Hot ramen spicy and Chicken curry ramen, the noodle is very chewy and their side dish is also yummy. In all my experience, the service was good and fast, The place was clean. I was always come here again. And even now, the wanting to keep romanticizing ones’ tanstines still goes on, I’m in!
