I don't care about grind mentality, I don't care about girl bossing, I don't care about being perceived as successful to strangers. I'm sick and tired of watching people get sick and tired looking for external validation, seeking accumulation of material things, killing themselves on the inside trying to keep up with mindless trends and empty ideals.
I care about waking up and feeling excited for the day ahead. I care about looking in the mirror and smiling at who I see. I care about planting seeds on fluffy, brown, wet ground and watching them grow into beautiful green babies. I care about having a sunlit kitchen that smells like love and health. I care about building a home with no hostility, no passive-agressiveness, no mind games, no shame and no fear. I care about having friends who I can share my life with, without fear of judgement, jealousy, competition. I care about privacy and tranquility.
I'm not really built for this world, but it's alright. I'll build my own world and live in it gracefully 🌷

I think this narrative of “just get you an old man with $$$ and live happily ever after” is giving old school misogyny… I understand the sentiment. However, I reject it. I think women deserve to be absolutely ravished by a man that they are actually attracted to who is ALSO financially stable. At this point in my life, unless it’s earth shattering union with a man I’m head over heels for (and he’s more into me than I am him) then I literally do not want it. I’d rather provide for myself.
