idk i think there's something a little bit horrific about a person being told buying x product or watching y tv show supports businesses and institutions that drive genocide and deciding they're not willing to put up with the non-inconvenience of not doing something. Like you're being asked to not buy the shitty wizard game. You're being told to not buy mcdonalds. You're being told to not watch a TV show. there's something so comforting about eddie literally just being some guy. he's not painted as some wildly successful sex symbol, or somebody everybody envies. he's messy. he stumbles over his words. he's relatively socially awkward.

when he gets depressed, he actually gets depressed. it's not cutesy and sugarcoated, it's gritty and it's unpleasant. same with the way he experiences stress. there's just something so human about the way he's portrayed.

anyway i could talk about eddie brock for hours and never get tired
