So uh. Hi! It’s been a while (5 years but like, that is still in fact a while). As time has gone by I’ve occasionally checked the activity on this blog, and it does warm my heart to see how often my YGO posts still go around. It makes me really happy to see the love I poured so much into for Zexal is still being shared and helping other people love this series that I love so deeply.

I’m not as active into Zexal anymore (I’ve been having a nostalgic phase for it recently (bro those new official arts of the Arclights) but I don’t want to rewatch it for at least a few years still because I already gave my entire early-mid 20s to it, and don’t want to give the rest of them to it as well, LMAO.

However! I have recently made a new blog I plan to use, where I plan to do a lot of the same stuff I did here, just for a different series. If you want to keep up with that, even if you aren’t familiar with it, you can follow @octahyde!! Again, thank you so much for your continued love to my posts, it really means a lot.

I don’t use tumblr anymore, but as a gay nonbinary YuGiOh fan whose uncle died in the AIDS crisis: fuck this project. The death of my family is not a goddamn aesthetic for a fan project about a cartoon for 9 year olds. There’s a time and a place for talking about the more open and less palatable to cishet people parts of queer history, and a fandom Zine is NOT it.

I havent done ZX month since the first mod tried to start a witch hunt against me for expressing discomfort about something to a friend in a respectful manner but it does make me happy to see people still participate in it, a lot of my general ZX posts still get interaction too and it's sweet even if I don't plan to do fan content for anything outside of plushies anymore
