This scene is so funny because the shelter staff 100% knew a calm, healthy, quiet little dog would be snatched up immediately but they looked at a weird little guy and thought he needed a weird little buddy and also they didn't want to do the paperwork.

The downside of Poker Face's success is that season two has more guest stars than available plot because what do you mean Sherry Cola is just chilling on the film crew? Gil Birmingham is a coach in an unhappily open marriage? Ego Nwodim is narrating her descent into cheesy spread madness from the announcer's booth and we don't even follow that up in the third act???
