Dabi's Reactions To Halloween Decorations

"The hell?" Dabi waves through the green and orange curtain that you taped to the entrance. His eyes fell instantly on you, knowing that this was all you, with Shigaraki's okay.

You pause in the middle of placing a glass pumpkin on the windowsill. A small smile spreads across your plump lips as you look up at the flame demon. "Shiggy said I could make it feel more like home..."

"You waste your earnings on this shit?" He steps over to one of the fake gravestones that you fished out of a dumpster of a dollar store. He pokes it, making a confused face as he turns around and looks at the rest of the decor that you've placed neatly around the abandoned building.

"No." You huff, carefully leaving the pumpkin in the window and grabbing another one from the duffle bag that you've filled to the brim. "I stole it, silly. Most of it came from the bins outside."

Dabi groans and rolls his eyes toward the ceiling. "You know we ain't gonna be here forever, right?"

"Look," you place your hands on your hips. "I never asked to be on the run with some of the most feared villains, living out of empty warehouses, and dressing in raggedy clothes. Our boss was nice enough to let me do this for the time we will be here, to make me happy. It's the little things in life, Dabi."

The man blinks at you, his mouth twitching to say something nasty in return, though you saw the sudden change in his face as it relaxed back to his lazy gaze. "Whatever does the trick, princess. Just don't touch my room."

"Don't worry." You grin at him. "Yours was the first room I did."

Okay but I didn’t know how much I NEEDED this

My heart belongs to that au where the League is the one that rescues Eri and for some weeks she's just there, around them.

Imagine her crying saying that she doesn't know how to smile and Dabi comforting her saying that it's okay, he can't cry, he only knows how to smile, so he can smile for her and she can cry for him until she learns how to smile.

Imagine Eri being afraid of Toga at first for all the knives and stuff, but she slowly gets use to Toga's way of being as Toga keeps teaching her how to defend herself and how to hide at plain sight, so Eri starts getting the fact that Toga is not so different from her.

Imagine Spinner just compliment her little horn and Eri being amazed by Spinner's looks and he's almost crying. He treats her like a princess and plays videogames with her and acts like he's royal knight.

Imagine Mr. Compress making her tiny masks like his. He just asks Giran for some clothes her side and she does dresses her the way she prefers but she's not sure, so she just kinda copies them all a little and tries on everything Giran offers them.

Imagine Twice making her feel happy and she's learning how to smile from him. His like the nicest guy ever and he dances with her and makes the funniest poses and voices. He lives for that child.

Imagine Kurogiri making sure she's healthy and she's just a little scare but then he lets her touch his hair. And he's like living mist! She never fears him after that because even when no one else in the League is eating, she always has food to herself.

And when she's feeling guilty about it, when she it all becomes too much, Shigaraki tries to reach her. She's terrified of him. She hides behind the others so he tries not to be close to her to avoid freaking her out. Until he takes off the hand on his face and crouches in front of her. He tells her they're doing all of that because they want to and not beacuse they feel the need to do it. It scares her even more but she looks at the scars and he just explains why he has them.

And she realizes, slowly again, that he they all are trying. They are a mess, that's right, but they're not like Overhaul's people. They are loud and funny and they fight a lot but somehow, they are not cold and distant. Not even Shigaraki, who teaches her how to play Animal Crossing.

And when the fight with the heroes comes and Eri says she wants to go with Izuku, Toga and Twice take her there. As simple as that.

That's why Eri asks his new dad, Aizawa, to save them. Because she knows now, they are like her. And they are her heroes too.

How Dabi would act in the safety of his room with you { SFW Edition }

Once he was comfortable enough, he would always want to be touching you, just to make sure you were still there.

Until then, he might seem distant and cold.

But he checks every few minutes to ensure you’re still there.

He keeps his shirt on because he thinks seeing his scars will gross you out.

He rests his head in your lap whilst you watch Netflix on your phone and he listens to music on his.

He isn’t much of a tv show kinda person.

But he thinks it’s cute to watch the faces you make when watching some of your favorites / comfort shows.

When you get a notification on your phone, jealousy surges through him, but he won’t say anything for the first couple of dings.

However, he’ll say something smart if you get too many at once.

“You sure are a popular one.” Or:

“Who do I have to burn to stop that?” Or:

“Really? Couldn’t even wait until I was out of the room, Princess?”

Being the little spoon isn’t something he does often at all, just on those nights when he’s having trouble sleeping.

Speaking of sleeping, he’ll probably nap in the middle of the day while you’re doing other things; cleaning, researching, watching TikTok, etc.

Dabi is very grumpy if you wake him up.

He’ll warn you not to do it again and turn on his side, back towards you.

If you happen to wake him up again, he’s either pulling you beside him so you’ll shut the fuck up and let him sleep, or he’s groggily getting himself out of bed and leaving for his next little mission.
