most people actively hate trans men more than they hate cis men and it’s 100% bc they can project all of the things they project onto cis men onto trans men and punish us for those projections without any consequence or pushback
And a lot of trans men both accept this treatment and encourage other transmascs + men to bc “if you were a good guy / real feminist you would understand that no level of mistreatment you can suffer is the same as how devastating misogyny and patriarchy is for women”
Being a Real Man™️ means accepting you can Never be hurt Like a Woman Can and somehow this is not Toxic Masculinity but instead True Feminism

it is crazy how “if this childrens show doesn’t kill their villain at the end it’s irredeemable media” became such a popular opinion here. like people were calling steven universe fascist apologia. and to be clear I don’t even think that would be the case for non childrens media, either. perhaps holding every single story up to the same standard of “does it follow the acceptable narrative path or is it evil propaganda” isn’t the most anti-fascist thing, either. maybe.

stop trying to divine a human person's exact moral character from the fiction they enjoy. stop trying to invent fandom phrenology.

modern social media should stop offering "sync with your phone contacts to follow them" options and start offering "block all your phone contacts so they never see your account" options

I hate how fandom has become "if you haven't created anything in this very specific time frame after the release of the show/movie, everyone will have moved on"
And call me old fashioned, but that's just not me. I sometimes take ages to create and publish. And I will love a show or movie for such a long time (years, babes, years) that I just can't relate to the fast consumerism that's going on.
Because, let's be real, it can get really lonely in a fandom if most have simply moved on to the next shiny thing. Is what's created less worth, just because it was created outside the hype? Why is it such a taboo for this new fandom generation to love an old or "late" fic or art?
It's so tiring and I'm too old for the 30-seconds-hype-tiktok-shit. Just tired. So, so tired.

people with pOCD 🤝 CSA survivors 🤝 other people with taboo sexual thoughts and impulses (intrusive and otherwise)
needing the internet to stop bringing up CSA in unrelated arguments for absolutely no reason
#and oh boy do they love bringing it up constantly like it's nothing#the protect the children squad sure does love bringing up horrible imagery of harm to actual children in their arguments over anime
