Just got put back on my meds after being off them for 2 weeks, so have a slightly manic 2am tangent that's basically just me justifying Wild having hair and eyes but also scars. I'm not a biologist, just a more than slightly manic artist, so if I'm wrong about anything I do not care.

The human body can only heal so fast, even with funky blue water to speed shit up, and obviously they couldn't spend forever healing Link, or he'd never show up to save the day, so the shrine has to prioritise the more important functions of the body. Internal organs, first and foremost. Blood vessels too. All the inside junk that keeps things working would've needed to be given priority while Link was presumably on magic life support in the water. Skin is important, but also if he's in magic water that's constantly healing him it's not like the skin has to be fully fixed, and even if it did, scar tissue still serves its purpose.

Eyes being important is fairly self explanatory, and obviously the eyebrows and lashes protect the eyes from sweat and other external contaminates, so once all the actual vital stuff is out of the way, it makes sense to make sure those are back. Sure, un-scarred skin works better, but if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I think I had more of a point to this, but it's very much still 2am and now I am both tired and hungry

Fun skyward sword au idea thing! Hylia doesn't really understand that children aren't just small adults, and expects Link's journey to start a lot earlier than it does, and take a lot longer, so she designs Fi to essentially grow up with him, starting as a kid and, like, getting older every time the sword gets upgraded? So she changes with both Link and the sword. But Link is already pretty much done growing by the time he pulls the sword, and the quest takes him less than a year. Bro's already confused when he finds a 10 year old robot kid hovering over his bed, then proceeds to get progressively more confused when he starts collecting the sacred flames and his little buddy stops being as little.

Will never not be upset that both the Zelda and atla live actions are being made only a few short years from me graduating and Being a Costume Designer. Do I think the Zelda movie will be good? Probably not. Do I still want to make the costumes for it? Fuck yes, how is that even a question. Idk, maybe I can get placement on one of them or smth

I've returned! I was genuinely going to finish Linktober, but my internet broke, so I 1: was a bit more focused on trying to fix that than drawing, and 2: couldn't post even if I could find time to draw. Anyway, internet is fixed now, so have a drawing of Irene from albw. Consider this my Halloween drawing, even if it is 2 days late.

Day 13: Spirit. It's everyone's favourite train driver and his ghost gf <3 I didn't actually realise the 13th was a Friday until after I drew this. If I had, I probably would've gone with something a li'l spooky, but yk what? I'm happy I went with this. I like it.

Much like skyward sword link and Zelda, they are in love <3 only instead of Zelda technically being a goddess, she's technically dead.

Day 12: princess. We've already had Zelda, so I had to draw my favourite fictional goth gf, Princess Hilda of Lorule <3 drew her last year too, but this one is better. Also I love her enough to draw her always and forever <3
