i am going to be taking a break from tumblr and harry things in general for a little while. this whole thing is super upsetting and i definitely need to take a breather and get uninvested. he’s just not really doing things right now that i’m comfortable “stanning” so imma take a break until things get back to normal. hope you all are well. ❤️

Just an observation to those taking criticism towards Harry’s attitude lately like “hate” or “jealousy” or anything else you guys like to call it: I cannot stress enough how important it is for you people to be capable of criticizing what you consume. Yes, sometimes you don’t want to think about it, you don’t want to overnalayze and dissect every aspect of celebrity culture/entertainment/etc that you consume and you don’t have to do it but it’s in moments like these that we have to be capable of having some critical thinking.

Critical thinking means you’re actively conceptualizing, analyzing and evaluating information gathered from observation or experience - of someone’s actions, someone’s beliefs, someone’s behavior and all of that. It means you’re figuring out what serves you and what doesn’t and no one is or should be exempt of it - NOT EVEN HARRY. 

He’s a wonderful man and he is kind and he takes his kindness everywhere he goes with him and that makes the world brighter and better and absolutely nothing can change that. But genuine goodness and kindness doesn’t make him incapable of making mistakes. He is, after all, a human being and humans are imperfect and that’s exactly what we’re all being reminded of during this pandemic, not only about Harry but about so much more.

People who are capable of critical thinking and are manifesting their opinions about it and their disappointment with Harry’s behavior are NOT, in any way shape or form, hating on him. They’re just expressing a feeling of frustration which they are all allowed to feel. IF people are offending him, then that’s hate and it shouldn’t be happening because he doesn’t deserve it. Disappointment doesn’t equal hate and disappointment doesn’t justify hate either. I hope you guys understand what I’m trying to say.

I am all for Harry having romantic relationships with whoever he chooses, but it is such a slap in the face to see how he socialises during covid. Yes the scarf may protect him more than initially thought…

but to start gallivanting around LA with friends while many of his fans that he preaches “tpwk stay safe stay home” to are on the frontlines as medical staff, teachers, and other key workers?? It’s hard to swallow.
