you know i think the funniest thing about sauron/mairon is that he has been described as “fair” 7 times in the book, higher than any other characters including luthien, and she is supposedly the most beautiful woman in that fictional universe,, like somebody actually did a count on it

I suspect that it may be a common Asexual experience but when I imagine something as "sexy", I imagine something that makes your heart beat fast, that gives you goosebumps, that captures all your focus and puts a hitch in your breath and an odd tingle on the back of your neck, that is exciting and enjoyable to think about.

By extension, things that I believe are "sexy" include:

Suppose your undeniable talents saw you one day get plucked out of a life of poverty and obscurity in rural Rohan and sent instead to Edoras. If you've ever shown even an iota of interest in my incessant musings on Guthláf, these two sweet horse boys who are in the canon for about a dozen sentences between them might be for you. They're coming first thing next week and then every week-to-10-days thereafter through 7 total chapters. My special little rarepair that I love beyond words. ♥️🐎🗡️

The way you sit there and read about this long, beautiful, tragic history of the elves right from the awakening and then you get to the end of the book and it's just like "And then they all faded away into the West" and it's stupid because I have SEEN and READ lotr, I've known what happens for 20 years but damn it just. It got me.

Every time I see a duck I think to myself that I want to pick up that duck. There is a sort of quality of the duck that makes it feel like the act of picking up the duck would somehow be analogous to those strange videos where people use knives to cleanly cut through multilayered cakes. There would be a sort of accumulative act even without taking permanent possession of the duck. It would rather be more like pulling the lever on some ancient machine which makes a counter increase by one. The duck is the lever. I hope my meaning is clear to you all?
