"Ha-ha. Want to go find somewhere quiet and go --- catch up?"
"That’s because I’ve been gone, and you’ve pretty much been Casper — "

"We uh, haven't talked one-on-one in a while."

Jeremy brushed his hair out of his face and chuckled, averting their gaze. The way Matt was looking at him made the other male nervous --- but not in a bad way. He leaned into the nudge, sighing.
"I think I will." And with that, Jeremy bent down to pick up a couple crates. "Fun? That sounds great ---- what do you have planned?"
Matt put the crate away in the storage room, a small smile on his face as Jeremy spoke. A part of him wanted to say no he wasn’t sure, he wanted Jeremy to stay and joke around with him, hang around with him and look at him with those amazing brown eyes that Matt caught himself drowning in more than once.
"Stay if you want man." Matt said, nudging the younger boy, any excuse for his skin to brush up against Jeremy’s and god, he was really asking for trouble wasn’t he? "Help me put away the rest of the crates and we’ll do something fun." Matt offered with a rare smirk.

Jeremy's eyes may have focused on Matt's backside for a second or two longer than he had wanted to admit, and he chuckled. "Well, Matt --- if you're sure. Though I really don't have any friends outside you and Bonnie, so..."
Matt laughed, ruefully as he shook his head. “Could be worse I guess.” Matt said, the eternal guilt-ridden optimist. Giving Jeremy a smile to match his own, Matt patted him on the shoulder, “Nah, I got it dude.” He said, bending down to lift up a crate. “Why don’t you go clock out early, do something fun.”
