About Harumi's story, is it the same as the original or are there any changes? Can you tell us what they are?

I don’t really have a “set” version of their story. Harumi in my headspace is very fluid lore wise depending on what scenarios or AU’s I plan to conceptualize. But for the most part, all and most canon lore applies to my headcanon-verse. Here are some trivia of character changes that I’ve consistently kept throughout any and all iterations of their story:

- Harumi is born with dark brown hair (natural brunette). Their birth mother is Hmong and their birth father is Montenegrin. Both parents are dark haired in canon anyways, I think the headcanon translates well with those design choices in mind.

- There’s a part in Harumi’s diary where a dark voice beckons them under the impression of Garmadon, reigniting their fiery devotion to Garmadon and basically setting the motions of resurrection in place.

I actually interpret the voice to be the Overlord. Perhaps his intention was to put Harumi to the test. If Garmadon was successfully brought back at his most darkest essence, the possibility of crossing back onto the physical plane himself would be tangible through Harumi. It’s less about Garmadon, he’s already a defector in The Overlord’s eyes.

It’s about what service Harumi can offer, the value in their potential. A child who not needed to be corrupted through poison or magic, but through the pain and suffering that was gifted by the world. They are the product of the overarching corruption done by The Overlord’s effect, the perfect pawn. (I’ll touch more on this if anyone’s interested in my reimagined crystallized)

- I genuinely believe that Harumi did care for the needy and poor. It adds a nuanced humanity to their idea of justice for the people. I think Harumi didn’t deny Lloyd’s accusation of false sincerity because there is no reason for them to want to justify themself. Why would they willingly offer any show of sentimentality for Lloyd to later try and use against them? The show kinda tries to use that concept later in crystallized, but it’s way too late into Harumi’s character spiral for that to be effective in my opinion.

When I think about it, these points sound more like reinterpreted versions of Harumi’s existing character…not a lot changes event wise. It’s my perception of their actions and feelings that highlight their story in a unique way. Harumi is so complicated and so beautifully damaged, I wish that the fanbase was more open to exploring their character when it’s outside of the Lloyd scope. I’m happy to ramble more about this stuff if you guys are into it haha, I’m like THE Harumi Superfan. Seriously.

i didnt know that people still knew of my past with xenogenders LOOOL of course😗

i used to have multiple xenogenders when i was a wiggler (arcadesumric ? gendercaro and one i made by myself) but as ive grown, i sorta stopped associating with them. personally, i felt like all these labels were just me trying to fit my multifaceted, not fully understood, and complex identity into neat boxes so others could understand me better. but now, i sorta like being complex and not fully understood. being a butch transmasc genderfluid lesbo fits me much better, and gives more wiggle room for my fluid and unique gender expression! if someone thinks im a contradiction, who am i to try and prove them wrong? im not concerned too much with labels and junk anyways. if someone knows, they know 😁

this is not to say that i dont 100% associate myself with at least my own manmade xenogender; thalabyssal. my partner helped with the visual flag of my xenogender😚 thalabyssal is something that was created solely to explain my identity and its connection to the deep sea, as pictured below

besides this, im not too public about my identity deeper then whats somewhat binary. i still consider this xenogender to be an influential part of me, something nobody else can try and replicate or take because its really specific!! my experiences is sort of like figuring myself out through xenogenders over time. i’ve ditched some, i’ve gone through a lot of pronoun changes, its normal to me and im glad im in an age where i can openly explore these concepts. i see it like describing a deeper part of you to somebody, something thats nonconforming of perceived gender norms. PRETTY PUNK IF I DO SAY~~ im personally proud that you’re experimenting and making an identity for yourself!!! i’d say just have fun and enjoy exploring ur gender identity and junk
