For a hot minute, we were unsure between clown April or trash April (who probably would have not been named April, tbf).

We favored clown April nonetheless, which can be seen on how we explored more options for clown-themed mascots.

Still: fairy raccoon rocks.

Continuing the Doug exploration, this was one of the last stages, which involved exploring:

- Color

- Outfit

- Some details (ribcage; heart; jaw)

Our favorite discarded outfit became Doug's pajamas!

Since it seems you liked it, this was the next iteration once the audience claimed they wanted a slime guy! 🎨

FUN FACT: Doug was 1st discussed as a potential DLC alt playable character for "Monster Roadtrip". It was at a point in which we decided we wanted a fat masc-presenting PC. We hold a poll among some of our Kickstarter backers in the Discord sever. These were the options!

To be clear, usually (and this time too) the votes aren't 100% conclusive; but an indication. We are still free to go a in whichever direction we deem best; but we still tend to take the audience's votes and comments into consideration (like how here we went with SLIME GUY).

If you like seeing this iteration, we can post the next iteration next, once people voted for "Slime Guy". It's also fun to see we had some monster types we wanted to explore. Even if they are not chosen, we still consider them for future chars (Yáng Yáng & April).

JUNE UPDATE IS HERE: NEW COMIC + WARM WALTER & BRADPHOMET

The June update is here!

This means you can now purchase the new DLC: Warm Walter & Bradphomet (now as playable characters)

There's also a free update that comes with a new comic! It's starred by two characters... who might they be?

The new comic should be available at the start of a new run, although you gotta unlock it first (by completing some comics first, so many of you may have it unlocked already!)

What'd be next? We're preparing the SKETCH section of the gallery. And we wanna finalize editing a couple last events, which should also unlock some of the achievements (and they have some special art too).

MAY UPDATE IS HERE: FAITH + SADIE & MOSS

The May update is finally here!

This means you can now purchase the new DLC: Sadie & Moss Mann (now as playable characters)
