Hello!! I love your icons!! I was wondering how you made them? Or how you make icons in general?

i’ve gotten a few requests so here’s a detailed tutorial of how i make my icons. i apologize for typos and the fact that i just am not great at tutorials but let’s give it a shot.

you’ll need:

photoshop (i use CC)

basic photoshop knowledge 

a base coloring/psd (i go over mine briefly) 

a photo/screencap

I love how Taissa was elected senator of new jersey and her first senatorial action was to get in a car crash, put her wife in the hospital, abandon said wife in the hospital, as well as her son, and then hitch hike to a video store and then go join a commune and completely ignore the fact that she is now a senator.

She's on an extended golf trip.

okay so GOTG Vol 3 is great all round but my new favourite canonical piece of MCU information is that rocket the raccoon, a literal genius who can build anything from anything and escape any prison he’s put in, who would get viscerally angry at people who called him a raccoon. didn’t get angry because he thought he was more than a simple animal he genuinely did not fucking know he was a goddamn raccoon.

hello and welcome to my little blending + colouring tutorial !! in this tutorial, i will be guiding you through colouring blended gifs and how to blend them. i will be using ps 2023. this tutorial assumes you have prior knowledge of basic colouring and timeline !

please note this is the process that i have received the best results from - it might not work for everyone and it likely doesn’t work for every show. but, with the results i have been having, i feel like it’s something i want to share with others !!

p.s. : i will work this tutorial the best i can to accomodate to the new tumblr gif guidelines and bugs !!

gif tutorial: how to blend images together using layer vector masks

@molinajules​​ asked how to blend images together using a torn paper effect. This tutorial will show you how to do this using layer masks. There are two different methods i use depending on the set i wanna make. i either use a brush or png images from mask packs i’ve found. since tumblr has a thing about links in posts, links for the resources i use will be provided in a reblog right after this tutorial. 

this tutorial is made assuming you already know how to make gifs and will be done using photoshop on a mac. i’ll be showing you how to make these two edits: the first one will be done using a png:

note: these gifs were ones i made for @dailytvwomen​ i did not steal them to use in this tutorial. they are mine! i was too lazy to make new ones :’)
