wut music do u listen to when writing??

this is such a good question!!!

it really depends on what i’m writing. i’m working on a beauty and the beast retelling fic (not age regression) so i’ve been listening to a lot of instrumental backtracks of fantasy shows like game of thrones and house of the dragon when writing that.

but, if i’m writing age regression things i’m probably listening to a mix of different instrumental backtracks to disney movies, sleeping beauty and beauty and the beast are big ones, but i also love the moana soundtrack!!!

so the simple answer is instrumental backtracks of movies and tv shows!!!

I want to blow a big raspberry in their faces for being so mean to someone with such a kind heart. ♡ Not only someone with a kind heart but someone who gifts their time to us. Someone who gives us magical stories to escape into. Someone who creates such a safe and inviting place that we seek out you and your work for comfort ♡

if it’s cheesy then i like cheesy! honestly if anything this meanie is polishing my sparkle! responding to hate asks has been really hard, i have a “delete them or something bad will happen” ocd compulsion and this exchange, albeit something that’s caused me to begin breaking out in anxiety hives again, has helped show me that i can work through these compulsions. posting fics has helped too, but this hâte-filled interaction is the cherry on top! a silver lining if you will.

your messages and support mean so much to me lovie, you’ve really been here through the thick and thin and i don’t know how to express how much you’re asks help and how much i look forward to them! (no pressure of course) so thank you lovie <3

Okay so maybe you dont owe us. But you have said time and time again that you will post the next parts and yet you never do. Youre still leading us on and thats not okay!

Also you never learn your lesson because you have so many loyal followers. They shouldnt be telling you that your valid in not posting these stories they should be mad too!

also yes, i have said at times i’m ready to post the next parts, that was for part two and three, of which have been posted. as for the rest of the parts yes, i have also said i will post those, but i’ve also said many times that i don’t know when they will be posted, and that i’m sorry things haven’t gone to plan in regardes to posting them on a schedule.

if you feel like i led you on, i do apologize, it does suck. but as sorry as i am, i am also a little frustrated. i have been nothing but honest and open my hopes for cafe bignsmall, but also my shortcomings and my faults in not being as prepared as i hoped to be. i don’t know what more i can do as posting the parts is not an option for me right now.

I 100% believe that it’s just one person sending you those nasty asks. I wish we could figure out who it is so they could be blocked.

the way they type is pretty telling! i usually try my best to not answer asks that are rude but these two aren’t the only asks i’ve gotten about not posting specific fics so i thought i should finally address it.

it’s kind of funny though, because this person obviously has my notification on! it took them half a minute to send a follow up ask. i might be petty, but at least i’m not obsessed <3

Your just mad because people are rightfully calling you out. You literally owe us three parings in the cafe big n small world and yet here you are posting other fics. Its so annoying. Stop keeping us waiting and just post them already. I get it life is hard or whatever but your a adult, grow up.

i owe you? i owe you? look i’m going to get a little petty here okay, ive written roughly 73 fics, and on average they’re, let’s say, 1,300 words each, i think that’s a fair estimate seeing as my fics are 800-2500 words in range.

okay so 1,300 words per fic means about 94,900 words in total. i type at about 40 words per minute, so that’s about 2,372 minutes writing time. (i’m not even including the time it takes to think of ideas, the time i take to re-write things, or the time it takes to format the fic into tumblr and find pictures …)

that’s 39 hours of unpaid work … and that’s a low ball of an estimate. i don’t think my followers or people who read my work owe me money for my time, and i’d appreciate it if you could realise that i dont owe anyone anything either.

i write in my free time, for free, and for fun. you are not obligated to my time, nor are you obligated to my non ‘published’ stories. while you’re allowed to have your own opinion, i suggest you put mine into perspective before you come at me saying i owe you something.

yes, i will actually. i understand that everyone loves cafe bignsmall, i do too! but, where i am mentally right now, posting my most anticipated series is the last thing i’m capable of doing. i could have posted nothing … i could have, yet i’m actively working on overcoming my fear of posting fics again.

Well we know he's like the mom of their little group but how do you think his mom instincts would kick in if his little was sick, like you sick he'd be more frantic and like 'oh no my baby is sick' or more calm and collected.

☆ Steve is pretty overbearing when it comes to any one of his 'kids' safety, well being, or just general health. So when it comes down to his baby being sick he gets almost insufferable.

☆ Even if it's just a stuffy nose Steve is on your butt about taking your vitamins and he's constantly making sure you're drinking enough water and eating good foods to help you get better faster.

☆ Everyone has to remind him that it's "going to be okay" because his rational thinking gets thrown out the window the moment you so much as cough. You could have a slight cold and he's ready to take you to the emergency room.

☆ He's the kind of caregiver to have an emergency pack in your backpack at all times. It's got band-aids, Advil and Tylenol, vitamins, anything you could possibly need really.

☆ He's also the kind of caregiver who will check in on you all day when you're not in his line of sight. You always have to phone him during the day to let him know you're okay and reassure him that you don't need to go home.

☆ Steve also doesn't care if he gets sick, he'd much rather snuggle you when you have a cold than sit off to the side. If there's one thing the guy is good at it's cuddles that work better than medicine. He'll set up a movie on the TV and put a heap of blankets on the couch, layering so many on you that you overheat within ten minutes of sitting down.

☆ If whatever sickness you have persists for more than a week he'll make you a doctors appointment and hype you up the whole drive there. He also sits in the doctors office with you, seeing as he remembers everything and everything about how you were feeling a day ago, even remembering exactly what your temperature was on any given day.

☆ It isn't until you're up and on your feet like normal for at least three days before he goes back to his usual level of overbearing caring. You definitely have to reassure him often that you're okay and feeling better at least nine times before he even thinks about not worrying anymore.

Not putting pressure on you or anything but I swear every time your theme changes I get chills because something big always goes down! I hope it’s more storys posted but I also know things aren’t going great right now. But I’m still so excited!

i do love that the change of my blogs theme is sort of a “change of the seasons” moment for not only me but some of my long time followers too. my vibe has finally shifted a bit and changing my theme always feels like i’m turning a new page, and i really love that i get to share that with y’all!
