i really like how she didn't choose to have each room correspond to an emotion (blue room = sad etc) but instead had each room be more complex than that.

like in the pink bedroom, they fight, they cuddle, and she's singing/writing a song alone. it's very intimate but in a very romantic way. the blue dining room is where they're making jokes over dinner but it's also where she's dramatically playing piano after a fight. in the green sitting room they're just chilling, being together.

i love how it perfectly shows what she was talking about regarding Lover showing all different facets of all kinds of love. it's more than just one colour for one kind of love, because it's more complicated than that. love is multifaceted and complicated and beautiful in its complexity.
