I've seen so many variations of this kind of DNI like... It just makes me more and more convinced that the average internet user sees children as nothing more than roaches. This is kind of a vent but like. Mostly I just wanted to post this to see if any other girl out there Gets what I'm talking about.

I just kind of hate when people give me "do whatever you want" advice in relations to my online presence. Like I appreciate the sentiment but I literally cannot do that. I don't have the privilege to do "whatever I want" or be a transgressive queer cringe culture is dead type person or what have you. Simply because my existence as a transfem means that if I ever show my "authentic" self in all its facets I would probably get like, harassed to death. and I know there are some who will trudge through it and keep coming back because "what online randoms say doesn't matter" but for me the internet is all I have, at the very least as a impoverished third world transfem. Can't go outside so the only form of social leverage I cant get is from online. That's why I put a million acts around people and say contradictory things and omit details of myself. I'm aware it makes me a bit of a two-faced fake bitch but like... I have my reasons ok?

Sending this to a Black transfemme is honestly pretty funny (ignorant, goofy as hell) given we experience the highest rate of violence out of trans folks (about 4 out of 5 murdered trans women are Black, 78%) and the majority of nonviolent deaths (which suicide is technically counted as nonviolent) are still transfemmes.

I’ll admit these exact numbers vary by study and year because the deaths of trans people are notoriously hard to archive/record between deaths recorded in deadname, closeted trans folks, non-supportive family, poor local reporting, etc. but like.

I don’t hate trans men/transmascs, I hate misogynists/transmisogynists. Plenty of transmascs go through life day to day recognizing how bad shit is for their transfemme sisters AND being able to talk about the transphobia they experience, without transforming into raging misogynists who can’t let women speak about their issues and suffering without shoehorning their way in on some trans-flavored “all lives matter” headassery.
