actors love to make their characters subtextually gay not just because they’re a little gay themselves though that often is the case but rather because having a secret is like energy drink to acting, and being gay is the easiest most obvious secret. whenever you’re unsure of your character’s motivations consider: maybe they are gay? see where that takes you. should be pretty far
When I was in the hospital, they gave me a big bracelet that said ALLERGY, but like. I'm allergic to bees. Were they going to prescribe me bees in there.
I just read the early draft of The Terror episode 1 and realized I completely misinterpreted the whole dinner scene (although it was probably obvious to others). Above we see the tail end of the scene where Sophia rejects Francis’ second proposal. Lady Jane has just told Sophia she should dress for dinner.
Here’s where Francis overhears Sir John’s cutting remarks. I had assumed that Francis was leaving for the evening- but what I thought was a coat is actually his formal attire for dinner. He wasn’t on his way out when heard the “under a different banner” speech. He was headed to the table.
As evidenced by the place setting next to Sophia. This makes his look of disgust and decision to just keep on walking down the stairs and out the front door even more badass.
Gonna look for confirmation but I've seen a claim relating to the news that the NHS is going to force GICs to hand over patient records to look for evidence of detransition, that the criteria they are going to use is if the patient has a GRC.
I dont have a solid source yet. Do not panic yet. But if true I will lose my fucking mind.
