A lot of people are ditching cable altogether which isn’t helping their funding, and their view counts are dwindling as well. This will keep happening. We can just hope another outlet such as Netflix or Hulu will pick them up.

What the heck is happening with TV Network companies the past day? They’re cancelling shows just about left and right. First B99, then Lucifer, and now the CW is passing up on Wayward! What gives??

So you know that post that talks about how kids cry because of how their parents/adults react about it? I believe I have experienced first-hand the exact point of that post. My nephew is here and he fell and hit his head on the edge of the porch swing (not hard, but definitely enough to feel the pressure) and I pet it and said "you're okay," in a calm, reassuring manner. He never once offered to cry. He just rubbed the spot and carried on playing. But he fell again and didn't actually hurt anything and everyone responded with "OH" really loudly and he started crying So TL;DR don't freak out when your kid falls, it'll just escalate the situation.

Hey guys,

So I’m really terrified right now. I wouldn’t be making this post if I wasnt. Last summer I moved to the states in order to attend university here, and it’s been the best choice I’ve ever made. However, I barley make ends meet and I can’t find a job at all and I don’t even have a car so I can’t go long distances for work. This summer, I really want to go back home and spend time with my family, and I can’t stay in Texas anyway because I have to be out of my dorm by May. Anyway, a ticket back home to Egypt is really, really expensive and I’m really trying to come up with the money. I am so, so homesick it’s killing me everyday. This summer my brother is getting married and I really need to be home for that, and I don’t even know where I would stay if I couldn’t come up with ticket money. So, I’m going to put my paypal here and ask for anything, not even alot. If you can’t donate, please reblog this and help me out. I haven’t read it since seventh grade, but my favorite part of Twilight that I remember is the “radioactive spider” line bc it implies that

I absolutely adore discovering what different people find hilarious with Cards Against Humanity because you’ll have someone who won’t even flinch when a card like “bees?” or “Boris the Soviet Love Hammer” is played but in the next second they’re crying from laughing at  "this is your pilot speaking fasten your seat belts and prepare for clams“

Talking about college preparations with my mum

Mum: Make a list of things you need and can't live without, like clothes - how much you need, what type-

Me: I'm definitely going to need breeches, I've only got three right now and I don't know if they'll fit by March

Mum: Well yeah but you'll need jeans, you can't live in breeches

Me: but they're comfyyyyy

Mum: but if you have to go into town you'll have to have jeans, you'll look like a freak

Me: It's the closest town to an equestrian college, I'm sure they're used to it

Mum: but if you guys go out to the movies or something-

Me: that's even if I make friends
