I had to double check to make sure I wasn’t on Tumblr for a moment when I came across this on Facebook. I was like “oh are we back at it again with bone jewelry-” and then realized that no, a older family member of mine had commented on the post
Just realized I never posted this (plus the reference I used) on here!
Attempted to draw again after YEARS of not drawing. It’s not the best, but ayy, I tried! I love Catra so much 💕💕
Really tempted to get a drawing tablet with my next paycheck so I can really start practicing. I don’t have a desk atm so any drawing I do is on my lap while sitting on my bed. Doesn’t feel great on my back honestLy.
Me: “I’m so fucking upset with my dad right now for not sticking up for me for YEARS and just not being there for me for many, many things. I tried to talk to him about it and he avoided the issue even though I stated it very clearly. This sucks, I’m angry and tired of pushing my feelings down about it.”
also me:
*sees that my dad bought me a dessert as well when he had picked up desserts for everyone*
*choking back tears* “gOd why do I have to be such an asshole and make a big deal out of things that are probably not THAT important-“
I was playing Drawn To Life (the old DS game) on my 3DS for old times’ sake. I, of course, spent a good hour designing my character while using human Cecil art that I had commissioned as a ref. It wasn’t the best, given my lack of experience and very few colors offered, but I trieD. (I had drawn everything except for the face and hands skin shading, so I used the fill in option for those.
After I was done I realized that you have the option to switch to another color palette, so I did that, hoping for more colors. The second I pressed the button, it changed all the current colors to the new ones on the palette (looked like a zombie tbh) so I pressed the Undo button. The new palette stayed up, so I thought I was free to use the new colors for a little bit of shading and adjusting of colors.
Apparently this was not something you should do. Everything was fine at first (except for the crappy graphics for anything you draw). And then I got to the first level.
As soon as I got into the first area, it changed into this monstrosity. It stayed that way when I came back to town, so whatever happened in that first level loading screen must’ve really messed it up.
I found the edit button in the pause menu when I was playing the second level and I’m basically going to have to do the whole thing over again ;~;
