hello everyone! sorry we've been inactive, we've had a lot going on irl!!

hello gamers. we were talking to a few other systems and some of em broguht up the fact that dissociation can be caused by other disorders like bpd & ptsd and then we talked to our therapist and went looking into our medical records and guess what we did find. we have a diagnosis of ptsd with dissociative side affects. so i guess we don't have osdd/did/ddnos etc and we are just. a ptsd system? also @ mod thank you very much for the resource links those were a big help in the discussion!! in particular this part from this link:

you don't have to answer this publicly if you don't want to, i'm just really really happy we finally found an ANSWER bc. it's been weighing on us a WHILE and some of the people in the notes were being really rude. hopefully with this ask that can end, thank you for the resources and being poilte to us throughout!

i’m glad u found answers! and that the resources were helpful! ptsd isn’t a system in the way did/osdd can be, but there does tend to be some part of u still stuck in the trauma, or still believing it’s going on. we’re sorry there were some rude people in the notes, but we’re really happy to have helped in ur journey of discovery! we wish u good luck in ur future and trauma recovery!
