why does everyone talk like wukong fumbled every bitch he had when in reality everyone else fumbled HIM? macaque, azure, dbk, spider queen, etc. everyone is obsessed with HIM. wukong is unbothered! he's chilling! he just wants to retire!

genuinely look at scenes of wukong talking about or interacting with macaque, azure, etc and tell me who is more down bad, who is wanting more out of the relationship. if your answer is still wukong, you are simply incorrect. he's hated BECAUSE no one could keep him. I'm sick of the slander.

I don't really like how I drew Macaque—he always looks a bit odd in digital, sadly... But alas, I don't feel like redoing this. Gotta say I don't actually like the colors. I prefer doodling him on paper.

Will never not be confused with the JTTW stories.

Because I see that Erlang Shen is an enemy, ally, and sworn brother of Sun Wukong.

What confuses me most, is that Erlang Shen and his team burned Flower Fruit Mountain to get back at the Monkey King, yet somehow ends up Ally and Sworn Brother with the Monkey King!?

I am pretty sure that fire killed many of Wukongs subjects, this should be considered an unforgivable act that could never be redeemed!

Yet somehow they're on good terms with eachother!?

I don't think teaming up against a common enemy a time or two should lead to forgiveness of the destruction of Wukongs home and murder of his subjects.

There has got to be more context to this than what I can find... finding the stories in better detail would definitely help he understand, since I only have some summaries and mixed interpretations of things that happened. Not to mention that some characters went by like 10 different names or something depending on with stories you were reading.

The reason for this confusion was seeing a number of works that mention the story about Erlang Shen burning Flower Fruit Mountain and a grudge being held for the Incident, yet there are also a number of works where people are romantically paring them in a post JTTW time frame.

And a number of works were the Incident hasn't happened yet, or is kinda just mentioned without mentioning Erlang Shen. Or implying something worse happened between the two.

Okay, maybe Sun Wukong is somehow more forgiving because of the Journey, and as part of the path he took involved forgiving those who wronged him or something... or was forced to forgive if some context can be believed.

Sorry for rambling and going back to the same points, I am just spiraling, because I first knew Erlang as a Celestial that wasn't as bad as the rest toward Sun Wukong, or just on better terms. Then the other stuff kept popping up and leaving me not sure on how to feel about the guy and wondering what I missed that could explain this.

And still Erlang Shen is somehow still preferred to Li Jing... unless I am missing a deeper lore reason on why, and not just what happened in LEGO Monkie Kid.

Peach Flavored Kisses, Chapter 26 — @introverted-monkey-noises

As usual, this fic made me cry. I really shouldn't be surprised, but every chapter after I started doodling (15 or 16 if I remember) was determined to make me cry. This was also the part of the chapter where I started tearing up!

I didn't really look at the descriptions this time since this was kind of a lazy doodle more than anything (which is why the last panel is just a lazy silhouette.) The bluish cyan specs in the first panel is intentional. Also this was my first time drawing Pigsy. So. Yeah. Someone give Pigsy a medal by the way.

Wukong needs a hug and a therapy session and I'm hoping to god Nezha helps.
