Me: The Israeli Kilshon (trident) was a modified Sherman SEAD vehicle. Using a M51 Sherman hull, its armament was one AGM-45 Shrike anti-radiation missile.

Me: To get the desired range, the Israeli’s used a booster to fire the AGM-45 to a desirable height before it would begin to seek the radar emitting device. This booster and missile system was redesigned for the AGM-78 Standard Anti Radiation missile, although by this time Shermans were withdrawn from IDF service.

one of my favorite tropes of all time is when the author tries to replace curse words with a more ‘family friendly’ alternative or invent new words for worldbuilding purposes but they use existing words that make the whole thing unintentionally hilarious out of context
