"No." Brittany nodded. "Wait no. I mean yes. Yes I want to marry you." Brittany shouted out pulling Santana up and throwing herself  at her and covering her face in kisses. "Are we really gonna get married?" Brittany asked taking a step back.

Brittany was even more confused as to what was going on when Santana started talking but she smiled in agreeance knowing that everything she said was true to her aswell. Brittany smiled even wider at the mention of their little boy waiting at home for them, they really did have the most perfect little family. Seeing Santana get down on one knee caused Brittany's eyes to widen as she realised what Santana was about to do. The worlds will you marry me repeating in her head as she looked from Santana to the ring and back again. Her mouth opened slightly as she tried to get her words out but nothing came out. Her eyes glanced back down to the ring again before deciding just to nod hoping that would be enough for Santana.

Brittany smiled widely at Santana as she listened to her girlfriend sing. She didn't really understand what was happening but she wasn't going to let that fact get in the way of her enjoying the moment. Brittany giggled softly every-time Santana sang the line 'all i want for Christmas is you.' She couldn't help me sense the truth in the song all Brittany wanted for Christmas was Santana and every other Christmas after that.

When Santana came to stop outside of a beautifully decorated house Brittany looked at her girlfriend confused. "This isn't our house silly." She laughed looking at the house again. "It's really pretty though. Can we have a house like this someday?" She asked turning back to Santana giving her her best puppy dog eyes.

Brittany looked at Santana in thought for a moment. "But if you're a lesbian doesn't that kind of make you like a son?" She asked as she began to draw patterns on Santana's hand. "Anyway Rico likes to make you happy too. How did we get such a perfect son?" Brittany asked smiling at the though of their baby boy.

"I love you too." Brittany smiled back at Santana. "Rico will be okay with your dad won't he?" She asked nervously. Even though he was now 2 years old she still hated leaving with anyone that wasn't Santana. "He look so cute giving me them flowers. I wish you had seen it San. He was so adorable." Brittany smiled at the thought of their son.

"I totes knew that."  Brittany sighed in relief as she ran her thumbs over the back of Santana's hands. "You can totes share mine if you want." She offered reaching out for Santana's hand across the table.

Brittany thought about if for a moment torn between the two options. She liked the idea of going somewhere new especially since they were all dressed up, but breadstix was where the two had their first date, where the first held hands in public. The decision was too difficult to make for the blonde. "I dunno San you can decided." Brittany smiled wondering why Santana had gone to so much effort. Suddenly feeling guilty Brittany frowned and leant forward to pressed a kiss to Santana's cheek. "Happy Anniversary." She smiled foolishly unable to believe she had forgot.

"Abooboo." Rico smiled reaching out to Martin as Brittany handed him over to Santana's dad. "Thanks Mr Lopez." Brittany smiled as she allowed Santana to lead her to the car.
Brittany turned in the car to face to Santana as she gripped onto her hand. "Rico was right you really do look pretty." She smiled getting a proper look at her girlfriend for the first time. "So where we going?" she asked.

Brittany smiled trying to hold back her tears as she took the last rose from Rico. She didn't know what Santana was planning for the evening but judging by the planning she had put into it all it was bound to be romantic. Brittany quickly put the roses into some water before kneeling down in front of Rico. "You going to come help mommy get pretty for mama? " She asked smiling as he nodded his head before running to get his stuff ducked. "Duckie come too." He smiled running back into Brittany's arms. "Of course." She smiled kissing the top of Rico's head as she picked him up and carried him to the bedroom she shared with Santana.
Setting Rico down on their bed Brittany started to get ready for her date with Santana. Picking out her light blue dress she slipped herself into making sure to keep an eye on Rico to make sure he was okay. After applying some makeup she slipped into her black heels and checked herself out in the mirror before turning to Rico. "How's mommy look?" She asked him walking closer to him. "Mommy pretty." He smiled standing on the bed holding his arms out to her as she heard a knock on the door. "Thanks baby." Brittany smiled attaching him to hip as she walked down the stairs opening the door for Santana. "Mama pretty too." Rico shouted as he tried to whisper into Brittany's ear.
The Big Question || Brittana
To say that Santana was a nervous wreck would be an understatement. The Latina was freaking out about her date with Brittany. She had something special planned for her girlfriend and wanted everything to be perfect. She was relieved that her father had agreed to babysit Rico for them. He was proud of Santana and Brittany and how far the two of them had come in the past four years. Santana sighed to herself as she looked at herself in the mirror of her father’s house. She was dressed in a tight red strapless dress with a black cardigan and red heels. She wanted to look perfect for Brittany and Santana knew that she looked the best in red.
Martin Lopez looked at Santana and smiled when he walked in and saw his daughter finishing up her makeup. “Mija, if we don’t leave now, you’re going to be late to your dinner reservations you have with Brittany. You don’t want to be late. Especially for something like this.” He reminded her softly. “I know.. You’re right.” Santana said as she took a deep breath. “Let’s go.” She said. Before she knew it they were at their apartment. “Thanks again, dad.” Santana said to her father as they got out of the car. Santana walked up to their porch and knocked on the door and waited for Brittany to answer the door. It was just like their old days back in high school when Santana would show up to Brittany’s parents’ home to pick her up for a date. As the butterflies built up inside her stomach, Santana took another deep breath as Brittany opened the door.
