COD Characters + Metal Band AU

Price would take you to reunions with his ex-band members. Having you sitting next to him, real close so his buddies can see how "he's still got it". Talk about the records they broke and blah blah. idk sorry.

Ghost carves your initials on his guitar. When he's playing at a show on stage, his fingers run over the jagged outline of the letters and thinks about you, either somewhere in the audience or watching him through the tv screen at home.

Soap likes having you by his side 24/7. He'll bring you along on tour, doesn't care about anything else. Will let you style his mohawk and would prob make you wear his band merch. Right before he goes on stage he makes you give him a kiss for "good luck".

Gaz is that nice neighborhood kid you grew up with and now you discover he's started playing in your local metal band? Not only is he friendly but it even softened your heart when he offered to teach you to play the drums.

Imagine being in the same band as Roach and both of you being so oblivious to the obvious mutual pining. Literally everyone else notices when you both get a lil too carried away during practice or on stage that your chemistry is like no other.

You find yourself bonding with your band's manager Alejandro on a road trip to what could be your big break. He's always been there for you and your band members, but recently, he's been giving you more attention than everyone else. Begs you not to replace him once you make it big.

Phillip didn't think he'd ever be the type to get into metal music. Probably listened to country and is maaybeee entering his y'allternative phase when he saw you on the cover of the local newspaper talking about your interesting mix of music genres.

You might've been a little out of your mind when you said you could bag Keegan, your celeb crush, if you'd be granted the opportunity. Was it that much of a stretch if you now find yourself waiting nervously backstage for a vip meet & greet and his eyes keep flickering over to you?

Why are you just finding out now that your boyfriend König has been in a metal band this entire time? It never crossed your mind he even listened to metal music much less was in a band and made it.

Horangi is that vocalist you looked up to. You've always admired him and the band he created. Now you're having a collab with him??? How to not freak out whilst sitting next to him in an interview? And did he just say you're his favorite member from the band?

Nikto joined the band to replace a member who had quit. Where did they find a replacement so quickly? He barely responds when you ask him and he wears a facemask. What's with that? Apparently it's part of the persona or whatever. You can't deny how good he is with his hands at playing...

Keegan set down his duffle bag, hands fumbling in the pockets of his jacket. Seemingly avoiding your gaze, your eyes searched for those striking icy eyes of his. You studied his face; eyebrows knit together, eyes looking anywhere else but you, mouth slightly downturned. It wasn't always easy to determine his emotions or feelings. But his entire demeanor showed listlessness, he needed to leave yet halted.

The moment of departure had arrived and in this abrupt pause hesitance had made the interval difficult to end. An unending comfort he knew he'd yearn for the moment he left, which was why as the seconds ticked by he found it increasingly difficult to take the initiative. A tension in the air, palpable, quickening and on the brink of shattering.

Your eyes casting fleeting glances at where his lips were, visible through the fabric of the balaclava he already wore, craved to meet his lips. Following close, you found his eyes had shifted to you, slowly rising up your face, pausing at your lips before meeting yours. Feeling as if the momentum had built up, the subtle pulling force drew you close to one another. You easily found his lips through the mask; feeling the curve of his cupid's bow, brushing against them for a heartbeat before fulling pressing against them.

He sighed pulling apart, thumb tracing the fabric over his lips.

☾ Headcanon: COD Men As Werewolves

⨯ Ghost, Soap, Gaz, Roach, Alejandro, Phillip Graves, Keegan, König, Horangi, Nikto

His breathing becomes ragged, hot breath fogging the clouded reflection in the mirror. His body trembles and his knuckles turn white as he grasps the mirror edges. His mind blurs as he tries to concentrate on his image in the mirror, with each pounding heartbeat, his pain grows unbearable.

He could feel the fur prick through his skin as it covered his body, a set of sharp teeth grew, and pointed claws broke through the pads of his fingers. His gaze became unclear, turning into something less than human before he lost all focus.

Ghost

He for some reason gets a lot of scars and scratches from accidentally clawing at himself

He hasn't been a werewolf for long so he's still getting used to it just like you are

You treat his injuries yourself because you can never decide whether you should take him to the doctor or the veterinarian

Soap

You find him acting odd, like truly doing the weirdest things. But when is he ever normal?

That new chewing toy you bought for your puppy? Suddenly you find Johnny with it in the living room gnawing on it, at least it's not your furniture

Will randomly lick/affectionately bite you

Dude imagine how cool he looks in his werewolf form with his mohawk

Gaz

Kyle absolutely despises being a werewolf in summer, you can always be sure to find him soaking in the bathtub all day

You both sleep with a fan in summer, just sleeping next to him makes you feel the heat radiating off of him, you can't even imagine how he must feel :(

But it's an advantage in fall and winter, practically turns into your personal heater in winter, just cuddling together the entire time, and since he bought the best conditioner for his fur it's so soft

Roach

Loves you stroking his ears and tail, gets highly sensitive with his tail

He frequently runs off for days and when he comes back he always brings something for you

You don't want to hurt his feelings so you have to pretend that the dead bird he brought you is the best gift you've ever received whilst he watches, tail wagging and seemingly content :(

Alejandro

Imagine how much hair would be on his chest ૮꒰´ ཀ ྀི꒱ა

Sheds everywhere

You have to help him shave it because the amount of thick hair he grows is insane and even gets in the way sometimes

He'll be getting it stuck in zippers, tangling it even more when he tries to cut it with scissors

Completely gives up wearing clothes and just stays inside the entire time because he overheats with clothes on

Phillip Graves

He gets territorial and stays lurking near the house, the mailman can't even come near to deliver the mail

Bares his teeth and being downright mean so you can't have anyone over but turns soft for you

And when he gets hungry you make him eat outside, you can’t stand watching him eat raw meat or making a mess inside

Keegan

Likes scaring the living daylights out of you

Sometimes it's easy to forget your boyfriend is a werewolf when he doesn't tell you exactly when he transforms

He laughs seeing your sleepy eyes widen in surprise when you wake up to a beast in your bed

He stalks around at night scaring kids too, loves scaring the little shits knowing no one is going to believe them if they ever told

König

He's strong but imagine how much stronger König becomes when he transforms

It sounds hot but also imagine how much of an inconvenience it is for him

He's constantly breaking doors when pushing/pulling on them, breaking chairs, can't get a single pair of pants or shirt on without it ripping

Horangi

Likes to tease you by biting or nipping at your skin, especially in sensitive areas like your neck, chest and thighs

His nighttime activity increases, when you wake up in the middle of the night to find his side of the bed cold and empty, you open the Find My app to track him and find that he decided to take a walk around town and even went out to eat

Sometimes you accompany him but it's almost every night he does it and you can't keep up

Nikto

He's actually really gentle as a werewolf

Although you're used to his big body weighing down on you

Since his claws grow out he has you filing them down and clipping them, as a joke you sometimes paint them and he has to go around looking like a menace until someone sees his hot pink nails

Is very protective of you, like a lot more

Won't let you go anywhere by yourself, especially at night and is by your side 24/7

Poor Keegan is tired from the long day he's had and doesn't have a lot of patience left for his very pregnant wife at home. You want to be with him all the time, clinging to him the moment he arrives and wanting to just lay in his arms. He knows once you grab hold of him, he won't be able to get anything else done.

"Baby, no not now." He mumbles as he presses a quick kiss on your forehead and moves past you. You trail after him like a puppy, wanting to feel him, to bask in his affection but he's just not in the mood. Unfortunately, you do not have boundaries and need his attention. His breath caresses your head as a sigh slips through his lips; you followed him to the couch and snuggled up to him, burying your head into his neck. You've become a lot more sensitive to scent and now one of your favorite things to do is smell Keegan for comfort. That familiar musk that means safety and ensures protection alongside the love he's shown makes it impossible for you to keep your hands off of him. He can't stay cross for long when he feels your body settling next to his and his hand comes to rest on your stomach.

His eyes glance at your desk; eyes taking in various essays and papers you've written and researched on the witch hunts that happened in the 16th century in Salem and Europe in the 17th century

Maybe this is this your version of "Would you still love me if I was a worm?"

He knows he's got to pick his words carefully when he gives an answer, the amount of times you've talked about this subject and he should've picked something up

"If I did I would've also been hung alongside you" Because he remembers you mentioning that some men were also executed and he probably would have been considered an accomplice

König

König had been comfortable resting his head on your chest until you sort of startled him with this question

"...Yes.." he had answered but you caught onto the hesitation in his voice by the slight raise at the end

He looks up and glances over at the whiteboard you've scribbled over with notes and the term "Hexentum" stands out; the German term for witchcraft

"Most likely wouldn't have made it" he replies and it makes you laugh, the persecution was severe in Austria during that era and was included in the list of regions with the highest trials and executions

Nikto

You've had to ask him this question several times before you got an answer

And when he finally did it was, "It would first be the other way around, you would defend me"

Because unlike other places, the cause of the witch-hunts in Russia was not due to religious reasons as much as it was due to political reasons

The predominance of men in the percentage of accusations included soldiers and government officials and their wives

So imagine being Nikto's wife during that era and having to constantly watch out for him

Gaz

You've asked Kyle this sort of question a hundred times, each time switching it out for something else

He is no stranger to your interest in the witch-hunts as he is the one who takes you to visit Salem every year

At night when you can't sleep you'll go over and over the stories of the innocent women and children who were executed and he lies there listening to you

Soap

"You might've been able to get away with it yourself"

"How so?"

Not every trial resulted in execution + women used to be stripped and searched for a mark apparently left on her by the devil, two Scottish women however disguised themselves as men to be "witch-finders" so they too could do this

Persecution was only if harm was caused by the person doing witchcraft until the 15th century i think

Ghost

Simon doesn't even hesitate when answering "No"

"What- why not?"

"There's no saving yer"

Half-joking, but he was also right, there was no way anyone would've gotten away with the hunts and torture used

From limbs being cut off to being tied up and thrown into a river, surely anyone who was accused and convicted was sure to die

Logan is observant and he can instantly tell if you are having a rough day just based off your mannerisms, he is understanding and will give you time to breathe if you need it.

౨ৎ LOVES... If you're shorter than him, he absolutely loves that. He is a personality over looks type of person, but that's one trait he absolutely adores about you, he loves giving you his thick, heavy jackets that are oversized on you, he loves tucking you into his chest on a cold day, or when you are resting your head on his chest while cuddling.

౨ৎ COMMUNICATION... Communication was a struggle throughout the relationship, there would be weeks that you guys won't speak because he is deployed for a long term and signal wasn't always available depending on where he was set off to. An attempt to solve this issue, he would send photos or short videos of him doing different activities, most photos would consist of him cleaning his gun, his team goofing around or him and hesh eating breakfast together.

You kept bringing stray cats home

Every time you walk through the door, hands buried in the pockets of your tightly wrapped coat, John turns his head and asks "What've you got in there?"

"I don't know what you're talking about" and a meow can be heard coming from inside your coat

He makes you take it off to find a cat and her kittens snug and warm in the inner pockets

"They were cold..." you say sheepishly when he sighs

Ghost

He has to take care of you and now you want a pet??

Says he has enough on his plate with just you

You’re blowing up his phone sending him videos of animals or shoving the phone in his face

“Simon, Simon! Look at this! We should totally get one.”

“…That’s a spider. Why would you want that?”

Soap

He had also been wanting a pet for some time now, he had an exotic animal in mind until you got chickens

"...Are we going to eat it?"

"Johnny, no."

Now he has to wake up early and feed them every day when the sun rises to when the sun goes down

The chickens have grown on him and he's even named them, gets upset when you or someone jokes about eating them

Gaz

Is totally fine with any pet as long as it’s nothing too out of the ordinary, so you got bunnies

You'll let them roam around the house sometimes and Kyle hates when you do that because they tend to chew things and it's somehow always his things

Imagine Kyle falling asleep in your bed with the pink comforters and the adorable fluffy baby bunnies (yes i'm making a reference to that one tiktok)

Roach

Unfortunately for both of you, you are weak when it comes to animals

You’re both fawning over the cats and dogs in the animal shelter, cuddling with the baby goats at the local farm even if they’re chewing your clothes and head butting you

Together you’ve owned your weird assortment of pets; ducks, goats, spiders, snakes etc.

I headcanon Gary is a nerd when it comes to snakes and bugs

Alejandro

In the moment, you manage to convince him pretty easily, until you actually bring home the dog you wanted

Pretends he doesn’t like petting it or getting near it

Even curses when he has to get up at night to let it out for it to use the bathroom

But ofc within a month he’s totally smitten over your pit bull

Spends money on buying it nice collars and food, taking it out for a drive in his truck frequently

When cooking on the grill he always buys extra meat just for your dog

Phillip Graves

I like to think he has a soft spot for animals and agreed to going along with you when deciding what animal to adopt

What he didn't expect was to be pulling into a ranch and looking at horses

He expected to be looking at dogs or cats or a fish even

Now he's helping you muck out the stall for the beautiful pinto you bought

Helps brush her down and keep its mane and tail smooth to enter it in shows and competitions

Keegan

He knew you'd been wanting a pet for a while now because every time you visited someone who owned a pet you'd asked if you could play or pet them

You probably spent longer bonding with animals than with humans

Decided to surprise you with a talking parrot

Every now and then he'll teach it cute phrases like "I love you", the parrot will sometimes pick up some colorful language from Keegan

Hesh Walker

He caved in and originally thought of gifting you a pretty Siamese cat before thinking he'd like to play a little prank on you

As a joke, he gave you two rats, each with a pink bow on them

David would've started laughing if it weren't for you growing attached to them, eventually he did tell you he intended to buy you a cat

The rats were quite intelligent and learned tricks fast and frequently played games so both you and David decided to keep them and forget about the original plan of getting a cat

Logan Walker

He could never say no to you

However, you had owned a dog before, Logan wasn't fond of cats and you didn't want something like a lizard or a fish that would stay inside a tank all the time

The perfect opportunity came up when you had the chance to adopt a baby cow, a calf who had lost its mother

You both agreed, there was extra unused backyard space

The calf was named "Moonpie"

König

You really wanted a pet, but König couldn't understand why

"We already have a pet"

It was an iguana, which König already owned when you moved in with him

You weren't very fond of it because of an anecdote that occurred the first time you were over at König's place; you had seen a long tail in between the couch cushions and thinking it was a stuffed animal or a toy you pull at it only to see the iguana moving

It still freaks you out to this day when you remember how flaky and weird the scales felt

Horangi

He agreed and suggested he be the one to go pick out a pet from the shelter

You stood at the door when you heard his car ready to meet your new pet only to be met with a plastic container

Upon opening the box you're shocked to see he brought home a snake, he just snickers as he picks it up, holding it as the boa wraps around his arm biceps

"You wanted a pet, didn't you?"

Nikto

You had spent months trying to convince him to get a pet, to which he kept saying no to

"Come on Andre, a dog wouldn't be as bad as a kid"

He had no reaction other than just a grunt, but next time he came home from deployment he set a portable crate down

You rushed excitedly when you heard squeals thinking it was a puppy, after three weeks you notice the brownish fur begin to lighten and spots appearing

"Where did you say you got the dog from?''

"Did I ever say it was a dog?"

Hello everybody! October is just round the corner, and isn't this just the busiest time of the year for artists?

Let's squeeze the most out of 2024 by hopping in on the Inktober and NaNoWriMo trends in October and November. Personally, I'm aiming at writing between 1,500 - 2,000 words long short story or flash fiction based on the given prompt for the day!

I’m a sucker for Keegan you’d never see me turning one of these down

When I saw mutual pining I thought about cute, fleeting interactions but the HEAVY mutual pining changes it. It's a quiet drift of emotions in a turbulent sea. No fleeting glances but long stares into one another's eyes for a yearning. It's frustrating being unable to show it when you consider that you also share barracks with other soldiers.

Like the sun and the moon. There was a time of day when the sun and moon stared at each other across the sky, resting on the brim of the horizon.

You always observed his silhouette, the strong and sharp features and mannerisms you've memorized so well you can tell which footsteps and shadow is his when the group of soldiers retires to the barracks. And as soon as he entered a room his eyes would go searching every bed for your figure.

The fiery passion of the sun and the soft gleaming of the moon. Both are so distant from one another. Both can be so close in their feelings yet so distant due to the newfound and unknown strong turbulent waves of the heart. You had a way of being subdued, not noticeable to a quick glance. Instead, rays of light glowed under your skin, emitting a lively and refreshing air. Like moonlight, your aura was soothing and gentle. Not harsh like the intensity of the sun. Delicate smiles and mellow words. You granted him peace and maybe when you stayed out late whether it was training or you were away on a mission he wouldn't be able to fall asleep until you were in your bed.

Keegan, being the sun was not a shining sunbeam in the sense of a lively persona. Instead he was bright and powerful. His eyes intense and clear. Every look of his carrying meaning. Making himself present and known, trying to be perceived by you. You didn't see him smile often, er- you couldn't tell when he did because of the balaclava he wore most of the time. But you had learned to watch the fabric move, the corner of his eyes slightly crinkle to signalize a smirk or a chuckle when you amused him.

The effect of a single interaction could last for days afterwards. Once you'd gotten injured and had retreated and curled up in your bed in agony. He "so happened to walk in" (he was the first to notice your injury) and without so much as a command to stay still had undone your bandages. As he applied lotion to the area, his hands which you had always seen as strong when in combat and firm were gentle as they slowly traced the wound. You swear you stopped feeling pain in that moment and you only felt a tingling sensation. Little did you know his heart was beating as fast as yours as his breath caught in his throat at being able to touch your skin which felt hot and burning. This served to build up tension and every interaction only became more meaningful as you struggled to decipher the other's actions.

A period of time where the sky is calm, life in the brim of darkness and light. The sun and moon coincide to create a beautiful glow that is cast through window panes and bathe rooms in golden light. They silently watch one another. Do they yearn to cross paths? Or will they forever be destined to stay within their parallel paths? You were the closest to heaven he would ever get.
