Hey Charlotte! What's your beef with monsters?

The radio blared out, it caused the small girl to yelp out in fright. She glared to the radio. Okay…so apparently someone…DID hear her give out that painfully tacky speech. She grimaced at the thought, before deciding to speak up. This was…the only real way she had to talk to people, either way. Even if she wasn't sure it was real 'people' she was talking to or not.

"You kidding me? They're….well. Monsters! They're like, beasts and animals, yeah? Except these ones kill people." That's what was written down in the books, at least. "It's not that I 'hate' them. It's more that I kind of hate…well, everyone, really. But at the very least, if I kill the monsters I'll get…"

She paused for a moment, trying to think of an answer. "…I'd say be a hero? But…heroes don't exist. I'll be…someone others will…I dunno, not mock? Someone who won't be looked down upon. Someone worthwhile I guess. Someone who isn't just…some nobody at least. I'll be the one who killed the monsters! The great slayer of the hellish beasts that lie below! C'mon! You can't tell me that'll give me some kind of respect for once!"

She paused for a moment. "…Either that, or they'll kill me. If I die? Then it proves I'm just some nobody. Nobody'd care and that's fine by me."

"...Well. Here we are." She stared into the pit. She couldn't even see the bottom...

"Long ago...two races ruled over earth, humans and monsters. Then one day..." Her eyes squinted. It was so hard to read this book she's...well. Stolen. "War broke out between the two races. After a long battle, the humans were victorious. They sealed the monsters underground with a magical spell." She furrowed her brows, before sighing. Yeah no. This wasn't gonna work out. She's been getting better at reading but...this was as far as she'd make it. A little girl in a ragged blue dress with messily dyed blue short hair ventured forth. She had a small bow adorning the top of her head, and various bandages that slightly itched against her skin. She smiled brightly though, so close to the top of Mount ebott. She had a small satchel with various goods in it. With it, came a small radio. She...didn't exactly understand where the voices from the radio came from, but she kept it around for some form of entertainment.

The sun beat down against her skin, man, doing this in the summer was a mistake, she should have waited until fall...her hand brushed against her bandages, making sure they were secure. She huffed, trying to look back at the town she came from as she panted, feeling sweat drip down from her neck. Or at least…she tried to see. She stared for a few moments, squinting her eyes, a nagging impulse spoke inside her mind, a need to make a toast. Or some sort of celebratory declaration.

She dug from one of the makeshift pockets made from her dress, digging out a rather ornate switchblade that was much fancier in quality than everything else in her possession.

She held it up to the sky, taking a bit of a heroic pose. "People of hometown! I, Charlotte, dashing rogue and thief, hereby declare to banish myself to mount Ebott! Where I shall fall underground to slay every monster there is! And I will not come back until I have the head of their king!"

She held her pose for a few moments, before putting the switchblade away, a frown creasing on her features.

"...Man that was WAY dorkier out loud than it was in my head." She glanced towards the radio she had on her person. "Glad no one was able to hear that..." Shouldn't be that much longer to make it to the top....

Introduction

Hiya everyone! I'm uh, very inexperienced with setting up tumblr blogs but this is going to be an ask blog (with roleplay interactions welcomed on the side!) This features a prequel to undertale and undertale yellow, thrown into the form of a series following my own interpretation of the purple soul, with some guest characters from both games and some new characters that'll be introduced.

I wanted to make this a comic? But I don't really feel confident enough in my comic making skills, so I'll probably just add pictures every now and then and make it a mostly written series. I just find it easier to express myself with written format more ;v;

I accept help and advise so long as it's constructive! I'd very much appreciate help to make this blog soar into the future!
