Nutrition? What’s that?
From  https://www.outsideonline.com/1915526/yes-you-can-run-ultramarathon:
“Off the line, you’re full. You don’t need anything for the first hour, maybe two hours,” Blende says. After that, you’ll have to start eating or drinking calories. But while you’ll burn about 100 calories per mile, your body can only absorb about 240 calories per hour, so it’s important not to eat too much, or you can get sick.
“It’s a deficit sport. You can’t eat all that you’re expending,” Blende says. “The best way to consume calories during a 50-mile race is to think of dripping them in like an IV.” She recommends setting a watch on a timer so it beeps every 15 minutes. Each time the alarm sounds, eat or drink something, whether it’s a gel, chew, sports drink, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, or a baked potato dipped in salt. “Leave a little of everything in your drop bag,” Blende says. “Leave your gels, your chews, your sports foods, your mixed drinks, because you might need it or you might have dropped something.” As for hydrating, the rule is simple: Drink according to thirst.
Should your stomach get upset, slow down, stop eating, or take in less. Keep up your hydration if you’re thirsty, and then start adding things back in. “Sometimes when you throw up, it’s really just your body saying, ‘OK, I’m wiping the slate clean, let’s start over,’” Blende says. Keep calm, and keep moving.

Beating by almost 50 km the most I’ve ever run in a week.
That’s The Wall distance done – now just got to do it one day!
Having four days’ rest now. Two down, two to go. Back on Wednesday.

Last week’s Giant Wall training: 66.3 km
Enjoyment: 5/10 – Friday to Monday’s runs were in 20°C heat in Cremona – things work better at that temperature. No aches or pains of anything.
Consistency: 4/10 – according to Strava I ‘accidentally’ ran a 4:30 kilometre in the middle of that 24.6 km run. Usually, I’m aiming of between 5:45 - 6:00 kms. The warming sun is very pleasant.
Total dIstance: 60% of 110km.

Last week’s miles
Last week I walked or ran 70.5 miles (113.4km) on top of the usual spinning classes.
All I’ve got to do now is to do all that in one day. Gulp!

Apple’s two-factor identification bug
I logged into iCloud.com in my MacBook Pro web browser this morning. For some reason, it doesn’t remember my browser and I have to log in again. Keychain apparently doesn’t remember my settings, so it’s longhand typing. I don’t use the browser interface too often. Can you imagine why?
I’ve two-factor identification turned on and so it’ll send a code to one of my devices that I get to choose which one. It asks which device I want to send the code to and I choose SMS to my mobile phone. My mobile phone number is linked to Apple’s Messages.app. The code is delivered to my iPhone but also to my MacBook Pro.
So, two-factor identification = broken.

Apple’s Mail.app doesn’t list all sent messages. I can find the email to Georgi, but it doesn’t show in the sent list.
