Opinion: “They are all a bunch of losers. Faaaaakeee news”
Tumblr media
June 3 2017
President Trump made an unexpected appearance in yesterday’s Commission on Science and Technology for Development conference and addressed the delegates as “nerds” and also stated that he does not “care a covfefe about global warming or what happens to polar bears, penguins or Eskimos” with the never missing racist remark “Eskimos are just frozen Mexicans”
When asked about his policies regarding future investments in renewable energy he said that it is not his priority right now and more money will go to promoting work “In American for Americans” since global warming is not real and temperature will not decrease anyway.
The beautiful about science is, Mr. Trump, that it is still there even thought you do not believe in it. Global warming will affect the US too and if Donald Trump is not able/willing to see this then he is making the worst decision ever. And he always makes the worst decisions ever.

7 dead and at least 50 wounded in London terror attack
Tumblr media
police and emergency crews investigating at the scene of the attack
Theresa May, British Prime Minister, claims there is too much tolerance towards Islamic extremists in the UK. She vows to battle extremists "We cannot and must not pretend that things can continue as they are," she said. "Enough is enough."
A large area of London bridge has been cordoned off as police continue intense investigation. They have also carried out raids in Barking, east London, arresting 12. May says that British police have disrupted five “credible” terror plans since the Westminster attack back in March.
British counter-terrorism strategies need to be reinforced and reviewed said May. Furthermore, she insisted, the internet must no longer remain a “safe space” for extremists of any kind.
"Since the emergence of the threat from Islamist-inspired terrorism, our country has made significant progress in disrupting plots and protecting the public. But it is time to say `Enough is enough'."

Opinion: “It’s not just a kidney”
June 4 2017
A recent article by Cuban newspaper, Gramma, has taken a very particular position on the Putin and his wife’s kidney transplant case, (In case you didn’t know, he stole a child’s kidney because his wife needed it and she, clearly, is more important.) labelling the action as “not unethical” due to the repercussions of losing his wife may affect more than one person.
However, utilitarianism has never been a good way to defend actions that would normally be considered inhumane and/or deplorable. The means don't justify the ends and in this case there is no reasonable argument that works in favour of Putin’s unethical ways.
If Putin’s "capability to make wise and unimpaired decisions” is so great then why did he make such a rushed resolution? This is a clear indicator of Putin’s incapability of reflexion before making and important decision but also, how he is willing to violate anyone’s rights to get what he needs.
If anything, this proves his weakness as the leader of one of the greatest powers. If the death of a close relative or anything similar will affect him so much that he will have no other choice that to leave 140 Million people without a strong leader then maybe he doesn’t have what it takes to be the commander in chief.
It is not just a kidney, but rather a representation of Putin’s willingness to violate his citizen´s rights in order to benefit from it. Russia’s neighbours are right to worry about the country’s direction. But as so often in the past, it is Russians themselves who will suffer most at their rulers’ hands.

Theresa May? She just did!
June 3 2017
In the midst of a heated NATO conference in which intervention in Kosovo was being discussed, a video of Theresa May signing an agreement with The Hellenic Republic of Greece, the Kingdom of Spain and the Czech Republic, has leaked by two freelance reporters and posted on the Wikileaks site. (watch video above)
The agreement was signed between countries that have been particularly affected by the recession in Europe and are prioritising the distribution of jobs within their citizens than with refugees.
All four parties have agreed on forcing private and public companies to pay refugees less, in order for them to have a limited income and, eventually, decide to return to their country of origin.
Turkey, France and the US condemn this decision and, while once seen as very keen to work with the countries involved in the agreement, tension is now palpable on both sides and being part of the same bloc is definitely not helping.

UPDATE
A video has been leaked from a state prison in California showing a white prison guard beating a black female inmate to death for no apparent reason. In the midst of Trump’s tense months in presidency and a rise in hate crimes, this recent case demonstrates the need for a reform on the American justice system. The Black Lives Matter movement is now more relevant than ever. We encourage American authorities to take immediate action to prevent further attacks fueled by racism. In the fight for equal rights, we must not forget those who are not free. They deserve them as much as we do. - Fernanda de Szyszlo BBC News, Claudia Flores CNN

Opinion: Gender Matters
By Claudia Flores, CNN representative
June 16 2017
One might thing that the American justice system would ensure that each and one of their prisoners receives gender-specific services. But for the 199,000 women in the U.S. prisons and jail, and the 950,000 on probation and parole, that is simply not the case.
In fact in most jurisdictions, women are offered fewer programs than men and the services provide little recognition of the traumatic paths that led them into the criminal justice system, said Stephanie Covington, PhD, co-director of the Center for Gender and Justice in La Jolla, Calif., at an APA 2009 Annual Convention session. In the fight for equal rights and the elimination of the wage gap, we have seemingly forgotten about women who are not free, and still deserve the same rights.
We must always support each other no matter what your religion, race or sexual orientation is, we all deserve basic needs and so do people in prison. When will the abuse stop? A reform in the American justice system is needed immediately in order to ensure the safety of our men and women.

Donald Trump, the president with the least approval ratings in American history, has issued the following statement:
June 16 2020
“We have always been 100% supportive of the idea of the creation of a kurdish state. We condemn Russia and Syria’s decision to not give territory to the FKA immediately since it is their historical inheritance because they are the greatest fighting force ever, there are no greater fighters than the Kurds. The. kurds. are. the. best.
That said…….. the US is willing to give military, humanitarian and economic aid to the FKA if they wish it. As we now the US has the greatest army, the greatest navy and the greater airforce in.. the.. whole.. world.. which is why we know that no LOSER will ever contradict us. We expect a quick response from the FKA.
Any country that intervenes with Kurdish affairs shall be given a STERN warning by the United States. The international community should not believe anything those losers from CNN and the washington post. They are all fake and a bunch of nerds.
By helping the Kurdish state we will make america… great… again.”

“Global warming is not our top priority”
Trump’s latest decision regarding the Paris accord acutely dampens global efforts to reverse global warming and the Commission on Science and Technology for Development is deeply concerned.
The US gets approximately 82% of its energy from fossil fuels and produces 14.34% of the world’s CO2 emissions landing second place right after China[2]. Since 2011, America, has been making an effort to use alternative energy sources and reduce its carbon emissions. In his 2009 State of the Union Address, former president Barack Obama reaffirmed his commitment to renewable energy and transferred $1 billion out of an initial $3 billion commitment to the UN Green Climate Fund before leaving office.
Keeping one of the promises he made during his campaign, president Trump has stated that the Paris agreement is “unfair and is punishing the US.” His decision to leave the accord was made public and its currently in progress however the repercussions may be worse than he expected.
During a conference in the Commission on Science and Technology for Development, delegates were discussing the implementation of alternative sources of energy which the American delegates were not willing to take part in. “We are trying to focus on the America first and any investment in renewable energy will take from our budget, money we need for solving domestic issues such as unemployment and education.” Various countries are not very keen to work along with the US to look for solutions to decrease the use of fossil fuels and have been very outspoken when it comes to expressing their concerns on the US leaving the treaty. “We are trying not to force things with countries like Germany, France and Italy. However we are also not trying to avoid it.”
American focus on this conference will be “educating the future generations into being more eco-conscious.” Some countries like Egypt have demonstrated interest in this kind of approach labelling it as innovative and creative. However, the Canadian delegate was profoundly concerned because this policy will have long term impacts and “waiting is something we cannot afford, especially now, when most countries rely on us, bigger economies, to protect the environment.”
