You took a deep breath, before sighing. Not out of relief but out of exhaustion. Ever since the daemos boys came in yours and Ava's lives, it's very hard to get any time off for yourself.

And getting a time off was now what you are doing. Deciding on taking a stroll in the park, just you and by yourself...

Well... At least that's what you planned on...

You Look at the taller man or daemos beside you. Who's vibrant eyes, scanned the area of the park. Yes, you did planned on going to the park. ALONE. but when the daemos found out about it, they quickly, tried to convince you.

You didn't even bother listening to their argument before telling them that your only bringing one person, and ONE person only.

And, of course, you chose the most quiet one. Pierce.

Out of the five men, pierce would most likely to behave more, other than Rhys, of course.

You turned away, before pierce could even look back at you. Eyes looking forward, as you both pass by a man sitting on the bench.

Normally, people wouldn't care, or mind their own business, but it seems like the man you passed by wasn't the same.

A whistle from behind you, made you paused on your tracks. Looking back, the man looked you up and down, smirking. "Lookin' fine as heck, girly."

You didn't even bother to hide your disgust. You only nervously laughed. "Uh, thanks..?" Without waiting for any response, you quickly turned around.

But before you could even walk away, a hand immediately held your wrist, so tight that It would probably bruise later.

"Where ya' goin'? Can't a man admire something so hot?" The hand on your wrist tightened, you hiss at the pain.

"Come on, gorgeous— SHIT!"

Pierce, who watched the whole thing happened, immediately acted. Grabbed the hand that held your wrist tightly. And hastily, you immediately wiggled your wrist free.

Pierce held the man's hand high, his hold tight, making the man scream before pierce let go of his hand. He stepped in front of you, acting as a barrier between the man and you.

The man, only muttered curses under his breath, before scrambling away.

Pierce watched him ran out of his sight, before turning around to look at you.

You rubbed your wrist, seeing it starting to bruise. "Ava is gonna kill me if she finds out about this..." You muttered.

"Are you Alright, lady [Y/n]?" You turned your head to pierce, before nodding. "Yeah, I'm fine... Its Just bruise that's all."

A much bigger hand gently grabbed your wrist, his thumb caressing it. "We need to heal you.." He muttered, his brows furrowed.

The sweet action made your cheek blush, before you quickly turned your head away. "Then, let's go back.."

Pierce only responded with a nod, before beginning walk back the path towards the apartment building, but his hand didn't let go from yours. Only wrapping your hand, with his own, gently without accidentally hurting you.

Your face is probably redder than a tomato at this point.

You let pierce guide you back, but your eyes kept staring at your intertwined hands. Blushing, you look back at him, just in time to see he was looking back at you before he looked away.

Blinking owlishly, you smiled slightly. "Hey, pierce?"

"Yes?"

"Thanks for protecting me..."

"..." Pierce didn't responded, but his hold tightened, not enough to hurt, but enough to let you know.

You couldn't see it, but the blush on his cheeks was visible, as a small smile tugging on his lips.
