I better see so many yumalia scenes in the manga more than anywhere else or i’m going to riot.
They’re married now so Ankama better have gone full out with these two like how they did with tristeva.
At this point they’ve been making us wait for too long I NEED TO SEE THESE TWO BE A POWER COUPLE TOGETHER. Ankama literally has no excuse to not show us more yumalia content than before anymore. PLEASE IM BEGGING YOU show us the same amount of yumalia scenes that you did for tristeva 😫😫😫

I hope I get to see Amalia’s hair let down just once in the manga.
Ever since the ovas released, her hair has always been at a medium length and tied up in a ponytail so I just want her to let go of it every once and a while you know? I don’t wanna see her always tying it up.
Also is it just me or did you also notice how her hair grew a bit more in the manga? The cover which reveals the release date for the first episode shows her hair looking longer than in the series right??
Tumblr media Tumblr media
RIGHT??? IM NOT SEEING THINGS RIGHT???
Her hair in Season 4 looks a bit shorter!! I heard that the manga happens after four months? So maybe that’s why her hair looks longer cuz a few months passed.
JUST LOOK AT THE HAIR LENGHT DIFFERENCE!!!
PLEASE let me see a moment where she takes her ponytail off!! 😫😫😫 It can be for any reason like all you need to do is show her in a panel where she doesn’t have her hair tied up and that’s it, please! She’s so cute, I miss the days where she used to have her hair let loose and wore a flower on her head 😭😭
You can even show her sleeping with Yugo on their bed without the hair tie too just saying 💕💕

@articwolfclawartist Alright first of all, YES make an AO3 account and correct these because they are just AMAZING!! 💖💕💖💕💖💕💖💕💖
I loved how you wrote for Chibi + Grougal and Nora + Efrim’s curses in more details. Nora and Efrim hearing their mom’s blood curdling scream sounds terrifying as hell and I would definitely see this be a thing because Efrim had a special connection to Eliatrope.
As for Chibi + Grougal, YOU’RE SCARING ME WITH THE WHOLE YUGO DYING THING CUT IT OUT-
No but really why did you had to do that?? 😭😭 Now you’re making me wonder if he’s actually gonna die in the manga or not STOP!!!
Also I should let you know that the reason why I didn’t include Chibi’s ability to make prophecies is because I want sure if that was still canon to the lore lol (cuz if it was, that would mean Chibi, Mina, Efrim, and Mina would ALL have a special connection to their mom)
Yugo and Adamaï dying more often than the others is BASED.
I feel like every single primordial eliatrope has a curse they have to deal with whether they realize it or not.
It was obvious with Qilby’s case, but with the other primordials, not so much. Maybe it’s because Qilby’s curse outshines them all which is why we don’t really realize what the others might be dealing with.
Glip’s gift: Gifted with the will and dedication to teaching the history of the eliatropes to the next generation.
Glip’s curse: His copious source of knowledge for the Eliatrope children has to be studied and memorized and repeated over and over again so he can transfer it again and again, essentially teaching the same thing for eternity.
Tumblr media
Mina’s gift: Gifted with the wisdom to solve all the quarrels that could divide their people.
Mina’s curse: Has to constantly solve the problems of others no matter how small it may be in her eyes.
Tumblr media
Yugo’s gift: Gifted with the heroic passion to adventure, travel, and protect his people.
Yugo’s curse: Constantly lives in danger. He can never rest from it all because his warrior spirit cannot allow it.
Tumblr media
Nora’s gift: Gifted with innocence and being free-spirited. To preserve these feelings and spread them to the people.
Nora’s curse: Innocence easily gets ruined.
Tumblr media
Chibi’s gift: Gifted with the brilliant mind to invent.
Chibi’s curse: All inventions made for his people rest on his shoulders. One fatal mistake and everything crumbles. He has to be careful if the invention properly works.

How is Coqueline older than Dathura?
In the first episode of the fourth season, the brotherhood of the Tofu, accompanied by The Siblings, venture into the library of the Gods. It is revealed by Dathura that this place is where every recorded life of every being that has ever existed is kept. During their visit, Dathura picks up Coqueline's life book, which appears significantly thicker than the others, and presents it to her.
What’s absurd about this moment is that Dathura tells her that the book looks bigger than any other in here because she’s the oldest among them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Isn’t it odd how a demigoddess osamodas is OLDER than one of Sadida’s divine dolls?
I say this because it sounds very strange based on the existing knowledge we have about the creation of the world.
According to the lore of the World of Twelve, when the gods first discovered this world, it was entirely uninhabited. There was no trace of any living beings or natural elements.
The gods decided to use their divine power to create a world that is suitable for their subjects to live in. The gods Osamodas and Sadida played a significant role in creating the wildlife and plant life respectively. (it is worth noting that Xelor also played a crucial role in the creation of time itself, though this is not directly related to the topic at hand)
When it was time to bring balance to the world, Sadida crafted ten Sadida dolls with the intention of seducing Osamodas' ten dragons. However, only six of the dolls were successful in their mission, which resulted in the creation of the six primordial Dofus that we know today.
This is where Coqueline's initial appearance seems to be somewhat disorganized.
During the period when Osamodas and Sadida collaborated to create the Dofus, their subjects could not have been created because the world lacked balance which made it difficult for their people to live in it. This underscores the importance of the Dofus in maintaining equilibrium in their world.
So here is where the question comes in.
If Coqueline is older than Dathura, how was Coqueline conceived?
Coqueline is a demigoddess so her mother must’ve been a mortal who had once lived before the creation of the dofus, a time when Dathura did not exist.
The Ogrest manga does not explain nor mention Coqueline’s past or her mother.
I also tried to look into the Dofus game and see what it can tell us about Coqueline’s background and yet again, I have nothing. There is a chance I might have missed information regarding her though since I do not play Dofus.
Regardless of whether or not I played the game, Coqueline is only seen wanting to take revenge on her father in Dofus.
It is clear now that Coqueline could not have come from a time when mortals could live properly in the world. Therefore, her mother could not have been a mortal. It can be deduced that Coqueline must have been conceived by a dragon.
And here are the reasons for this assumption.
Coqueline, who is considered to be the oldest member of The Siblings, appears to be significantly younger than her peers. Her youthful appearance is so striking that it could easily lead one to mistake her for a child no older than Elely and Flopin.
The young-looking appearance of a person within a group can sometimes be deceiving, as it may not accurately reflect their actual age. This phenomenon is reminiscent of Yugo, who despite having a childlike appearance, was actually an adult.
Yugo's physical appearance is distinctively child-like due to the presence of dragon blood in his veins. This unique biological makeup inhibits his normal growth process, resulting in him being unable to mature at a rate comparable to his friends.
There is only one known instance where an individual was observed to age slowly due to the presence of dragon blood in their system. And this exceptional case was Yugo.
So when we look at Coqueline, it appears that she is also affected by the aging issue similar to Yugo. Since her father is the god of beasts, which encompasses dragons among other creatures, it is worth noting that this correlation may not be a mere coincidence.
It's possible that Coqueline's irregular growth compared to the other demigods could be explained by her being a product of Osamodas and a dragon. This would not only suggest that her genetic composition is different from the others, but it would also explain why she still looks and sounds like a child despite being the oldest.

I can see the kids reacting normally to this lol
Also the language should definitely be the dragonic language ✨
imagine the eliatropes have their own language and yugo just naturally knows it but he has no idea he’s speaking a different language because it’s only comes out when he’s panicking or talking to the eliatrope children

LOVE THIS THEORY ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I noticed that the authors always show us Yugo and Amalia at sunset. In the second season, Amalia gets angry at Yugo but then hugs him. In the trilogy, Yugo looks at Amalia and looks away in embarrassment. And in the last season they finally look into each other's eyes and merge in a kiss. The relationship of these two smoothly went from best friends, to likes to lovers

For hundreds of years, she remains the source of his sadness, anger, and sometimes… More often than he would like, his nightmares.
He's still not sure what exactly she sought at that damned time. But, well, obviously not his love.
And yet HE had this feeling then and still has it now.
Julith is gone. But love, the roots of which Joris could not rip out (and, in fact, did not want), remains… In some grotesque form, it haunts him from time to time.
Instead of learning to love, he learned how to be responsible.

Lady Echo: A Character Analysis
Before we dive in, there's something about me you should know. I'm a TV Tropes truther. That site is my Bible. If a piece of media interests me, then you'd better believe I have visited its TV Tropes page.
And because of that, Echo in particular is a character I've been meaning to talk about for a while now, because I get the feeling people tend to overlook what I feel is the true core of her character at the end of season 3.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As you can see, while other tropes go more into detail about her true motivations behind betraying Oropo, that part of her character ends up being reduced to being a Woman Scorned, and while that certainly applies here, I really don't think that's the trope that best encapsulates her character and her decisions at the end of the season.
A Woman Scorned is essentially any woman who has been wronged by the person she loves and seeks revenge or has at least expressed great anger. And it can go from being cheated on by a partner, or simply being rejected by their love interest and not taking it well. And both heroic and villainous characters can be the ones to break her heart. In fact, Arpagone too would be an example of this trope, as even if her feelings for Ruel are still there, most of her actions are motivated by the pain she feels for his decision to choose money over her.
Tumblr media
As you can see, this all fits with Echo's actions and feelings at the end of season 3, but it's very general overall. Which is why, in my humble opinion, Echo is a better example of Love Forgives All but Lust.
This trope is essentially a deconstruction of tropes centred around the appeal bad boys have for women. The thing about women falling for bad boys is that those women tend to know they're bad news, and beyond a desire to be the ones to change them, the real reason that interest is born is because they're attracted to the idea of the bad boy being a jerk to everyone, but them. Love Forgives All but Lust is what happens when the woman is rudely awakened from that delusion.
In other words, when they realise not even they are safe from their partner's worst actions. And what is the best way to have a woman feel betrayed to the point of seeking revenge? Unfaithfulness.
Sure, they will forgive their partner if it turns out he's a serial killer, but if he cheats? Then he's the one who's dead.
And example of Love Forgives All but Lust is when the police is trying to get a mafioso's wife/girlfriend to testify against her lover, but she refuses to cooperate... until she discovers her husband/boyfriend has a lover, then she'll do everything to bring him down.
If you think about it, this is essentially what happened between Echo and Oropo after he revealed he only ever "loved" Amalia. Even if Echo is a much more active player in Oropo's machinations than simply being aware of them, having helped him carry over his plans for centuries as his second-in-command.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After he kissed Amalia and claimed Echo never meant anything to him compared to her, that's when Echo totally lost it. And her subsequent actions are a direct result of his betrayal. It never had anything to do with Echo seeing the error of her ways, as we all know.
Think about it, it wasn't until Oropo chose Amalia over her, after everything they had ever been through, that Echo truly struck. Once it became apparent her lover didn't care for her nearly as much as she cared for him, that's when Echo revealed his true plans: to destroy the gods, he must destroy the World of Twelve and deprive them of followers. In other words, he was willing to commit mass genocide for the sake of his dream.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Moreoever, the fact that she got to reveal the true extent of his plans at all already highlights that only she knew about them. All along, Echo knew what Oropo was planning, the consequences of his dreams, and she never once stopped believing in his cause. Their conversation in episode 6 even going as far as explaining Echo already believed in him and supported his dreams before ever falling for him, meaning she can't even excuse her actions by saying her feelings blinded her. Because she was perfectly aware of Oropo's plans all along.
And yet, that didn't stop her from loving him. If anything, it was only another reason she fell in love with him.
No, it wasn't until Oropo broke her heart that she ever went against him.
If you ask me, this all reads as Echo not minding Oropo's most questionable tendencies because she was convinced she was exempt from ever being at the receiving end of his worst actions. After all, she had been by his side the longest, witnessing how he got rid of demigods that failed to meet his standards or were no longer useful (going with what the show claims, I haven't read Ogrest's manga). It wasn't until he kissed Amalia and shoved her aside that Echo realised not even she was safe from him.
And it was because Oropo had had no qualms to screw her over that Echo decided it was her turn to screw him over. And hence, she revealed her plans to the Brotherhood of the Forgotten, not because she'd seen the error of her ways, but because Oropo had hurt her and she wanted to make him bleed in turn.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the end, Echo's actions weren't fuelled solely by revenge or even jealousy, they were fuelled by the bitter realisation that she never meant as much to Oropo as he meant to her. It was about realising he had no qualms hurting her, not about how he had no qualms hurting anyone else.
It was about Echo not being enough for Oropo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And for me, that's why Echo is a better example of Love Forgives All but Lust.
